I've
Got a Secret by Chico Alexander, GSNN
Air time: 11:30p ET/10:30p CT on GSN
Host: Bil Dwyer |
|
|
Today, Suzanne intends to
get no "yes" answers.
But first... Frank
pays homage to EP Jean Wiegman. Let's make her proud.
Blindfolds on, please,
for an almost-nearly-naked Angelino Marguerite Johannis.
We'd show you proof, but we don't want to get into any
more trouble than we already are in. Her secret: "I
serve sushi off my naked body." Jermaine gets that she's
wearing something provocative. Suzanne gets that she's
doing this to Bil right now. Frank gets that serving
food in a provocative manner is involved. And that she's
not wearing very much. And Frank knows it. Billy
completely misses it.
And Bil continues with
dinner.
Next... a high school
senior from Michigan, Michael Sessions. Secret hint:
an exceptional personal achievement. Suzanne gets that
it's neither physical nor mental. Frank gets no money or
school, but did advance his life. And TV people came.
Billy gets an election. Jermaine gets higher than high
school president... but that's about as high as he got.
Buzzer beat him.
His secret (highlight for
answer): he's the youngest US
mayor.
Finally, a former
semi-pro footballer from Santa Cruz, CA, Dan Menendez.
His secret: "I juggle while playing piano." Frank gets a
traditional instrument. Billy gets piano. Jermaine gets
that the way he plays the piano is odd. Suzanne... was
close. Dan wins.
And we get a performance.

Jeopardy! by
Chico Alexander, GSNN
Air time: Check listings or

Host: Alex Trebek |
|
|
Roberta Ellington
(marketing coordinator from Tustin, CA); $17,500 |
|
Jessica Tanner
(graduate student from Cambridge, MA) |
|
Kerry Rucidlo
(secretary from New York City) |
Today, sisters are doing
it for themselves.
Roberta starts with $200
3-Letter Words. Jessica finds the Daily Double under
$600 June Swoon. She bets $1000 on this: the National
Foundation for this June holiday is based in Baltimore.
"What is Arbor Day?" Close, but no, it was Flag Day. She
has $1000.
... which would become
$3600 at the half. Kerry had $4600, while Roberta has
$7200 as Jessica goes into starting Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Literary
Crossword Clues "L", where she finds the first Daily
Double under $1600. She only fronts $1000 on Robin
Hood's pseudonym in "Ivanhoe", or Tennyson's "Hall" (8).
"I don't know." Locksley. She is docked to $4600, still
second. Scores are really tight as Jessica finds the
second Daily Double under $1600 Emissary to America. She
has $8200 to the champ's $8000 and the other
challenger's $8600. Time to make a move. She only halves
the level on home country of Carlos de Icaza, who
attended the 2005 inauguration of the new mayor of Los
Angeles. "What is Mexico?" Right for $9000 and the lead.
Roberta retakes the lead going into the final, with
$12,800 to Jessica's $11,400 and Kerry's $8600.
Final Jeopardy! in "Universities": It's the only
state that doesn't have an undergraduate university or
university system named just for the state itself. Correct question:
What is New Jersey?
Roberta thanks her
girlfriend for the right response... Wait, I'm getting a
Gordongram...
(Gordongram: I protest
that Final Jeopardy!, being a graduate of the College of
New Jersey.)
Whoa. Stop the presses,
we could see both Jessica and Kerry on a later show if
that fact got out (and I know J! heads with proper
connections read this, and they're lighting up the J!
boards on it, so...). In any event, Roberta returns
tomorrow with $41,701. |
