I've
Got a Secret by Chico Alexander, GSNN
Air time: 11:30p ET/10:30p CT on GSN
Host: Bil Dwyer |

Today, no one ever listens
to Bil, but first...
"Good old fashioned farm
girls from Des Moines, IA", Sarah and Kay. Their secret:
"We are mother/daughter acrobats." Blindfolds up,
please... Jermaine gets that they are mother/daughter.
Suzanne gets gymnastics. Frank... they're not
contortionists. Billy is empty. We get the rest of the
show, while Sarah & Kay get dinner and $1000.
Next, a man who loves to
paint, cook, and drive down the highway fast... His name
is Philippe, and his alter ego made him a star. Suzanne
gets a costume. Frank gets that the costume is vastly
different than what he's wearing now. Billy gets singing
and western. Jermaine... thinks he's seen him before.
"Would the words 'YMCA' do anything for you?" Bingo
bango.
His secret: "I am
the Indian from the Village People." Since the group's
inception in 1977.
Finally, a recent grad of
Cleveland State (no, Mike, not you)... Rick Smith, Jr.
His secret: "I am a card throwing champion." Frank gets
a physicality. Billy gets playing cards. Jermaine gets
throwing. Suzanne puts 2-and-2 together.
World record is 216' 4".
Can Rick beat it on the IGAS stage? No, but Gambit's
going to slice things to take us out.

Eric Dolansky
(PhD student in marketing from Toronto); $46,402,
two days |
|
Steve Friedman
(writer from Los Angeles) |
|
Nathan Meyers
(software developer from Medford, MA) |
So far, Eric is proving
himself to be a force to be reckoned with. Steve and
Nathan have their work cut out for them.
Eric starts up with $200
Hot "Bun"s, but Nathan is the hot one with $2400 at the
TV time out against Steve's $1800 and Eric's $1200
With $2800, Steve runs
into the Daily Double under $600 US Colleges &
Universities. Egged on by his friends in the crowd, he
goes for broke on this... recovering from Katrina, it
scheduled a makeup "lagniappe semester" starting in May
2006. "What is Tulane?" Right for $5600! But he ends up
going down to $4800 to end the round. Nathan has the
lead with $6400, while Eric, with $1000, starts Double
Jeopardy!...
...with $400 Embrace the
"Orb". Steve finds the first Daily Double under $1200
Physical Science. He bets $5000, and here's Jon... "For
5 out of 10 carbon-11 atoms to decay into boron-11, it
takes 20 minutes, which is this measure for the
carbon-11 isotope." "What is the half-life?" Right for
$13,400! Eric has a chance to get back into the game
with $2000 You Will Be Assimilated. He bets level on
this: under the 1792 Treaty of Jassy, the Ottoman Empire
agreed to Russia's taking over control of this
peninsula. "What is the Crimean Peninsula?" Correct for
$3800. He ends with $5800, but it's all a wash against
$15,800 for Steve and $14,400 for Nathan.
Final Jeopardy!
in "Africa": in January 2006 this country
swore in Africa's first elected female president, Ellen
Johnson Sirleaf. Correct
question: What is Liberia?
Eric adds on all but two
of his total, but Nathan is right on as well. So it's
all on Steve... who gets it wrong. Nathan wins with
$15,801, as Eric leaves with $48,402. |
