Today, going beyond with the
real Ghost Whisperer, but first...
A systems analyst from
Virginia, Donna Lee Kang. Her secret: "I was a
cheerleader with Sandra Bullock." Billy gets a film
actress, famous for more than 10 years, and over 40.
Jermaine gets comedies and not blonde. Suzanne gets a
white woman. Frank gets a brunette. But that's it. Donna
gets the $1000 and dinner. And we get pictures.
Next, world-renowned
psychic medium and co-creator of "The Ghost Whisperer,"
James van Praagh. His secret... an interesting pursuit.
Jermaine got "studies". Suzanne gets ... nothing. Frank
gets a certain uniform. ... and that leads us to his
secret...
His secret: "I
studied to be a priest." More pictures! It's cute
to see celebs at communion.
Finally, a pianist from
Wauwatosa, WI, Joel Freeborn. His secret: "I can open
bottles with my belly button." Suzanne gets that it is
torso-based. Frank gets tummy and muscle control. Billy
gets a prop. Jermaine "plays with his navel." But he
needs a couple more seconds.
And we get a demo to end
the show. |

Eric Dolansky
(PhD student in marketing from Toronto); $21,601 |
|
Kristen Meinhold
(graphic designer orig. from Monument, CO) |
|
Ken Hinton
(teacher from Las Vegas) |
Will the student school
the teacher? Or will a graphic artist put designs on
them both?
Eric starts up with $200
Colorful Rock. But Kristen finds the Daily Double, a
video under $400 Welcome to Denver (in celebration of a
time period change there). She bets the max of $1000 on
this: located at 1340 Pennsylvania street, the house of
this storied Titanic survivor is preserved as it was in
1910. "Who is Molly Brown?" Right for $1600!
She pads out to $3000 at
the half to Ken's $3800 and Eric's $4600. Good scores,
but Kristen gets first pickings in Double Jeopardy!...
...with $400 Myth
Adventures. Last two categories in play are The Male is
in the Czech and Shermans. First Daily Double: $1200
Shermans. Ken bets $5000 on this: one of the 2 important
"Acts" written by US Senator John Sherman in 1890.
"What's the Sherman Antitrust Act?" The Silver Purchase
Act was the other, as Ken goes to $12,400. Going to the
second Daily Double under $1600 The Male Is in the
Czech. Eric fronts $1800 on this: in 1892, this composer
became director of New York's National Conservatory of
Music. "Who is Dvorak?" Right for $18,000. That's where
he ends, as Ken has $12,400, and Kristen drops to $8600.
Final Jeopardy!
in "Countries of the World": for over a decade,
starting from 1807, this nation's capital was moved to a
city in South America. Correct
question: What is Portugal?
Kristen's right on... Ken
isn't... Doesn't matter either way, as Eric repeats as
champs with $24,801 today, $46,402 for two days. |
