I... love... Feuding on
TV, case #3, hanging with my friends... and TWINS...
It's the Battle of the Twins on the Feud all this week.
The Youngers are leading, one game to none...
|
Oldest
(Scott, Jillian, Mike, Jody, Charla) |
|
Youngest (Chris,
Jacquelyn, Paul, Erin, Darla); $20,000 |
Round 1: 100 men,
something you'd trade in if you can get one that's
better
(7). Scott fires with #1, a car. Jillian goes for the
second most obvious answer: their wives. Also on the
board: job, house, and boat. The Youngers try to steal
with TV... Got it for 85! Other answer: body.
Round 2: something you
won't stop doing even if the phone rings (6). Jillian...
"Having sex." And that's hanky panky for #1! Also, using
the potty, tending the baby, watching the Feud,
showering, and... having dinner? Chris likes it... What
did the people say? Good for 150.
Double Round: something
you have more of now than you did 10 years ago (5).
Paul gets money for money. Erin: fat. Darla: clothes and
shoes. Chris: family. One more answer, and the Elders go
with... debt. Not there! Youngers up to 270. Other
answer: sense/wisdom.
Triple Round: real or
fictional, a famous Bert/Burt (4). Erin gets #2, Bert &
Ernie. Jody goes one better with Burt Reynolds. Scott
gets #3, Burt Lancaster. The Youngers get one more shot
with Burt Bacharach... Shutout! 546-0!
What, no love for Bert
Convy?
Chris & Jacquelyn take
the Fast Money board again. Will they take another
$20,000? Nope. The Elders get $2500. |

Buzzer's fired up. Let's get
the party started.
First up, mystery novel fans Kelly Nelson & Colleen
Fisher from just outside Seattle. Their secret: "We are
mother/daughter champion bodybuilders." Jermaine gets
that they do the same physical activity. Suzanne gets
that it is athletic. Frank gets that it is
competitive... and they are related. Billy gets that
their mother/daughter. But that's it. We've got a
stumper, and Kelly & Colleen get dinner and $1000.
And we have video
footage.
Disney fanatic coming.
Here's Jack Condon. He's got... an incredible
collection. Suzanne gets television. Frank narrows it to
the 70s. Billy narrows it to pretty lady cops...
The secret is: "I collect
Charlie's Angels memorabilia." The TV show, not the
movie, as he's got pics of himself and all six angels.
Finally, Duane Flatmo from
Eureka, CA. His secret: "I play guitar with a hand
mixer." Frank gets an unusual way of making music. Billy
gets a guitar. Jermaine gets that something else is
involved. Suzanne gets that a gadget is involved. She
was SO CLOSE! So Duane gets $1000 and the
dinner... and we see the magic hand mixer in action.

the draw back with GRAVY and the Lingo for 125 to the
Yellows' 25.
Andy & Sam get an S. They
SPEAK up for 25. They follow up with TIMES, REBEL, and
the Lingo for the lead, 150-125.

Andy & Sam can catch up

With two Bonus Lingo
letters, Jennifer & Matt get WOMEN, PILOT, GREAT, APPLY,
BLINK, TREND, ROADS, KNOWN, and DAIRY for the guarantee
of nine, but can they get the $17,000? The money ball is

never hear the end of it.
Tomorrow, it's up to
$18,000.

18-35 years old. Kristie starts this round
which is PHRASE. First Spin...the $10,000
Wedge! She hits the Mediterranean Tour! She
misses the solve...over to Micah. He hits a
$2,500 X. And he solves THE EXCEPTION THAT
PROVES THE RULE for $5,300. He has $6,300.
(She solved THE EXCEPTION THAT BROKES THE
RULE.) She lost over $22,000 with that
bad solve. Ouch.
The jackpot
round is sponsored by Eggland's Best Eggs.
The category is ON THE MENU...and a PRIZE
PUZZLE as well. Micah starts. He starts with
Lose A Turn. David gets his first shot. He
hits and picks up the $500 Shock Coffee/$500

Who
Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Yesterday, Ian Winkler (Iowa
City, IA) had no problem getting to $1,000. How much
farther will he go without a problem?
It seems that everyone that Ian told about this was in
shock, and didn't really believe that he was going to be
here. Well, I'm sure they'll believe it once they see
this show! Also, the day of this taping is also the
1-year anniversary of the passing of his grandmother,
who believed that he could make it into the hot seat.
So, this is an emotional moment for him, but I'm sure he
can make his grandmother proud. With that, the game
resumes...
[$2,000]
The actor who originated the role of Cooter on what TV
show called its 2005 big-screen remake a "sleazy
insult"?
A: Bewitched
B: The Dukes of Hazzard
C: The Honeymooners
D: Fat Albert
Ian didn't want to do this early, but he asks the
audience. Both polls lean towards B (92% of the studio
audience; 52% of the AIM users). Ian trusts them... and
they're right! Another question later, and he has this
one to ponder...
[$8,000]
The famous swallows of the San Juan Capistrano mission
traditionally return on St. Joseph's Day, the 19th of
what month?
A: March
B: June
C: September
D: December
Ian calls his uncle Bobby, but he doesn't give an answer
in time. With that, Ian then uses the 50:50, leaving A
and B. Ian then guesses B... but it's A! Darn. Looks
like he'll have to settle for $1,000.
Next up is Leslie Archey (New York, NY). She's involved
in sales during the day, but she wants the million bucks
here. So, they get right to it, and Leslie starts by
knowing that in the Bible, to encourage man to have
children, God issues the command "Be fruitful and
multiply" (to be honest, I can't really see Him saying
"Let's do this thing!"). She gets through the lower
tier, then gets through a few more questions before
facing this...
[$16,000]
Often used in French, what pronunciation mark is always
placed under a letter and never above it?
A: Umlaut
B: Tilde
C: Cedilla
D: Circumflex
Leslie asks the audience, and both polls favour C (41%;
42%). Leslie trusts them... and they're right! Moving
on...
[$25,000]
Amid widespread political squabbling, what country's
president sacked his entire 7-month-old cabinet in 2005?
A: Poland
B: Ukraine
C: Czech Republic
D: Croatia
Leslie decides to call the father of one of her best
friends, Peter, whom she had never met. Peter says B,
but he's only 25% sure. In other words, it's a guess.
Leslie then uses the 50:50, which leaves B and C. She
then gives it some thought, but she decides to walk with
$16,000. And it turns out the guess was right; it was B.
In the hot seat now is Jonathan Dyke (Diamond Bar, CA).
He's a concierge at a hotel where he serves celebrities,
but he'd like to compose music for some films. So, he
could use some money to help out with that. Jonathan
starts by knowing that "Fill 'er up!" is a request
commonly made while purchasing gasoline (though I'd
laugh if someone were to use that line when getting
implants). He sweeps the lower tier...
..before time runs out. Jonathan will be back tomorrow
to hopefully add to the $1,000 that he currently has. |
