The final chapter-Let's Duel!

It's a battle between the Red & Purple team for control of the 13th piece. Let's get it started!

J.D. tells the team to think back to the first day and he said on that first day, "2 of you are Endurance champions." flash forward to today, and Red so far has the number 2, meaning the number of times they won a mission, the number of times they had the suhmadi, and the number of times they went to temple and won. On the other hand, the Purple team were underdogs with Daniela hoping it was Michael, but instead, it was Jonathan. The teams got a suprize for themselves. It was a log from the cabin with the word "Tehachapi" to remind them about their experience. So far, Purple has 6 pieces including leadership & friendship, while Red got 7 including courage, trust & heart. They have 2 hours to go to temple before they head back home.

Franke said he misses the food, people and the swing. Erika said she wants to find more things untouched in her life. Daniela always knows that Jonathan tried his best and she's going to miss everything. Jonathan said there's no way to forget the friends he made. Franke's not really nervous and wants to do it for Erika's safety. Daniela is so happy, she wants to think back to when 20 kids were here. But we got one more thing to take care of:

FINAL CHALLENGE: The 13th Piece Pyramid

Each player must place a piece next to the silver pyramid, and then the golden pyramid is revealed. 1 team must collect the pieces over the opponent. If you get to 13, it's the championship. Let's get it! 3 pieces are up, Purple gets the 1st and the 3rd, while Red gets the middle spot. The reveal....The bottom one. Purple gets 7, and we now have 4. Red gets 2nd & 3rd, while Purple gets 1st & 4th. The reveal.....the 2nd spot. Red gets 8, purple gets 5. Now...5 silver pyramids. Purple chooses 2nd, 4th & 5th, while red gets 1st & 3rd. The reveal....the 1st one. Red is 2 away from winning this thing. Now it's down to 6 pyramids. Will purple bounce back? The reveal....Purple gets it with the 3rd one. They're now up with 6. 7 pyramids on deck. Purple Red gets 4 spots while Purple gets 3. The reveal....the 3rd one. Red goes up to 11. 2 more would do it. Now 8 pyramids. Purple places 2 for do or die. Will this happen? Let's reveal........It's the 6th one. Red did it. They are the champions. They're off to Costa Rica for a wildlife look 100 ft. off the ground. Franke said he overcame all this and they did it. Congrats to the Purple team who didn't win, but showed a great poise all season.
