Today is

Megamatch by Gordon Pepper, GSNN

Air time: Noon ET/11a CT on Telefutura
Host: Chiquinquirá Delgado
Remember last week, where we had the Tug Of War between the models? Well this week, we have it by the schools. The Yellow Team was wishing that the models were playing - at least they got a 2-2 split. This week, howeveer, the Green Team wins it 3-1 and takes most of the time.

We also have time for the Gladiators as they try to knock each other off the monkey bars. We get a 7-7 tie, which means that both teams get 1:30 added to their score.

We get a dancing, talking, rapping, dancing, lip synching...something. Next!

Continuing with music...and dancing...is Musical waiters. Couples dance until the music stops. Then you have to go across the stage, grab a tray and scurry back. The slowerts team is out. The eliminations are as follows - 5 (Green), 7 (Green), 8 (Yellow), 2 (Yellow), 3 (Green), 6 (Yellow) and... 4 (Yellow). Green wins the event....and for the reward, we get another song! Whoopie!

With all of these musical events going, we barely have time for the Trivia Round. Yellow finishes with a time of 2 minues. Ick. Green finishes with a whopping 7 minutes and they get to run the bonus round.

So we start and it takes him...3 minutes to open the first door? Wha? So much for the whopping 7 minutes. He does find the MegaMatch logo in a record 15 seconds and wins 2 sets of appliances, but it may take him another 3 minutes to open the next door. It only takes him 1 minute to get the door open and he gets through the lob with a DVD and VCR. He finds the next key fast, but he has only 1 minute to stack up the shot glasses, which...he gets done? He does, and gets the range/oven as time expires, but he should have gotten a lot farther on 7 minutes. Aiieee.

We all hope that hour #2 does better than hour #1. We start with the return or boxing (2 people box it out while sitting on an elevated log). After 4 minutes of fighting, we see that the Yellow Team edged out the Green Team 10-9 and gets the first win.

Can they continue it with the Logo or X game? Yellow is looking for the winning logo under either 8, 9, or 11. They go for 8 and it's...an X. Yellow can't win, but Green can if they get the right box. Green selects 9 and Green is...a Megamatch Logo! Green wins the event and ties up the score.

We're having so much fun with music that let's have another concert! Hooray!

No more concerts. Trivia time. The green team dusts the Yellow Team here and defeats Yellow, 7:00 to 1:20. That gives Green ANOTHER 7 minutes to go through the house.

Can they do any better this time and at least get through the first door in less than 3 minutes? Yes - he gets it open in 20 seconds and gets the first logo in 1 minute, grabbins 2 sets of appliances. He also gets through the lab with ease and wins 1 DVD / TV Combo. He gets the third door open with ease and is now in the third room before the guy in the first hour could open the first door. However, thats where the luck ende - he takes way too much time trying to build the perfect shotglass mountain and he would have been better to go for it and let it crash than try to perfect it. He does go for it at the end, but it's too late and time runs out.

And to think that the guy that spent three minutes getting in the house does better than the guy who gets in immediately. Let's see if we can find ANYONE to get past room #3 next week.
