Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Jessica Epstein (assistant dean orig. from Mercer Island, WA); $25,401
Julie Seitter (voice talent from Littleton, MA)
Jimmy Orsag (journalist from Rochester, PA)

Three Js wander into the J! stage, but which one will leave significantly richer?

Jessica starts with $200 Common Bonds, with Jimmy at $1800 finding the Daily Double under $1000. He bets only level on this: a starched shirt, a week-old cadaver, and a strong drink. "What are things that are stiff?" Right for $2800. He parlays that into a lead of $4400 to Jessica's $1000. Julie, with $800, gets first go in Double Jeopardy!...

...with $400 Think "Tank". Jessica gets the first Daily Double under $1200 Magazine Headquarters. She can pass Jimmy for the lead, but she only bets $1600. The clue: if you loved that National Geographic piece on porpoises, write to them in this city. "What is Honolulu?" Nope, it's Washington, DC, as she drops to $5800. Julie finds the second Daily Double under $1600 19th Century Europe. She can now take the lead, but she only bets $2000. The clue: as of 1825, Spain had lost all of its possessions in the New World except these 2 islands. "Nothing." What are Cuba and Puerto Rico? She'll end with $5600, just a hair above Jessica's $5400. Meanwhile, it's Jimmy's to lose with $11,600.

Final Jeopardy! in "Trees": to honor a Cherokee leader who died in 1843, a European botanist proposed this name for a tree. Correct question: What is Sequoia?

Jessica doubles up... Julie almost doubles up.... And Jimmy didn't do much of anything, as he wins $11,602. Jessica leaves with $26,401.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
Marcus Jefferson does a little dance, while Maria Browe, Amy Martens, and Rochelle Miller just run. What are they running for? An elliptical trainer, as shown by Beauty Newbie Aly Sutton. Price: $1299. Winner: Rochelle! She now gets a shot at luggage, a bench, a mower/edger, and a popcorn cart. All she has to do is go on a $4000 Shopping Spree. She picks out the mower first... $1243. Then comes the luggage... $1200. Can she spend more than $1557? She goes for the popcorn cart... $2070! Winner winner!

Round 2... cookware... Goes to Marcus for $1990. Now he's got a shot at a Ford Focus winning Let'em Roll. Our three products: Nesquik Strawberry, Hot Pockets, and Renuzit Airlets. The Nesquik powder is $4.39. Marcus goes lower for the Hot Pockets... and they are for $2.29! And finally, the Airlets. Marcus says higher... Right on! $5.49. That's three rolls. First roll... car and $5000. He banks the car and rolls again.... car and $3500. He banks the car and rolls one more time... and gets two more cars and $1500 total.

Trent Kramer, who gives props to all of his side to the audience, wins a "Dreamer" graphic worth $2500. But will he be on his way to Vienna? Time to roll out the scales of justice for Balance Game. Available for Trent's consideration, $486, $2000, $3000, and $4000. Bob gives him the $486, and Trent adds on $2000 and $4000 to tip the scales at $6486. But it's too much weight for the trip to handle. The price: $5486.

Showcase Showdown with a new rug in place... nice rug at that. Trent and Rochelle pick up $1000 each, but Trent's bonus spinoff is bigger with 45c to Rochelle's dime.

Tova Handleman takes the stage thanks to a $1360 sailing dinghy. Now she gets a shot at a Ford Mustang playing the Money Game. The board...

88 34 99
55 77 20
22 21 44

Middle number is 0. First pick... 22... Front of the car! Next two picks, 55 and 34... $89 total. Next pick, 44... And she wins the $22,044 ride!

Maria takes a $779 grill in round 5, as she gets to play the Shell Game for a new dining room with dinnerware. First, though, a cordless phone marked $100. She goes higher... $129! Next, a humidifier.. Higher or lower than $18? She goes higher... $27! Toaster is not $60. Maria goes higher... $80! Finally, "Lady & The Tramp" on DVD... She thinks lower than $38... $30, oh yeah! That's four chips, that's a win! BUT can she score $500 with a free pick? She goes with shell #2... Not there. It was clear on the other side at #4.

Last chance for Amy with a set of binocameras. Price: $520. Winner... Scott Rowan. Now he gets a shot at a pool table, a bar set, and golf equipment. It's Most Expensive, and Scott gravitates toward the golf equipment. The pool table is... $3500. The bar set is... $2910. The golf equipment is... $2010. A loss for Scott, but not a total loss, as he joins Trent in the Showcase.

Now the last three Shows have been marred by double overbids... Don't mess this up. First up: what NOT to do... it involves a new evening gown, a trip to Rome, and a Ford Five Hundred. Top winner Trent bids $26,500. Meanwhile, Scott has a fireplace, a new living room, and a spa. He bids $14,700. Actual price... $21,308! YAY! He's under! He's under! Difference: $6608. Actual price of Trent's Showcase... $32,746. Difference is... $6246! He wins with $36,246 in cash and prizes.

Stats: even, $76,121.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Yesterday, Michael Kayne (Brooklyn, NY) had no problem reaching $1,000. Today, he goes for more...

Michael's fiancé, Kerri (who is in the audience) is hoping he wins enough for a dream wedding, apparently to make up for the proposal, which started with a slice of pizza. Michael's idea was that it's because their first date was at a pizza place. Okay, it was some time after they left the place that the question was popped. But still, he managed to plan a night that was romantic and, in his words, "economically conservative" (in other words, "cheap"). Anyway, the game resumes, and he soon faces this...

[$4,000]
Offering a ten-minute bird's-eye view of the area, the Whirlpool Aero Car is a popular attraction at what tourist spot?
A: Yosemite
B: Grand Canyon
C: Niagara Falls
D: Mount Rushmore

Michael has no idea, so he asks the audience. 76% of the studio audience and 46% of the AIM users say C. Michael trusts them... and they're right! Another question later, and this comes up...

[$16,000]
Martha Stewart served her prison sentence at a minimum security facility in West Virginia nicknamed what?
A: Camp Cupcake
B: The Pitz-Carlton
C: Heavenworth
D: Hokey Pokey

Michael calls his co-worker Tina, and she seemed to be saying A as time ran out, though whether it was to him or someone else in the room with her, they don't know. So, Michael uses the 50:50, leaving A and C. He still has no idea, but just decides to go for it, saying A... and it's A! Moving on...

[$25,000]
The historic region of Palestine lies on the eastern shore of what body of water?
A: Red Sea
B: Mediterranean Sea
C: Persian Gulf
D: Arabian Sea

Michael is not the type of person that knows enough geography, so he walks. After seeing that it was B, he heads out with $16,000! He should be able to afford a decent enough (by that, I mean "not cheap") wedding with that.

Dancing into the hot seat now is Roseann Avolio (Clifton, NJ). Yeah, she's excited. And she remains excited as she gets right into it by knowing that in the cable TV network abbreviation CNN, the first "N" stands for News (though there could be times when it might as well be Nothin'-Else-On). She excitedly gets to $1,000, then after a couple of questions, she faces this...

[$8,000]
In October of 2005, what famous mom revealed that she does not let her kids watch TV, read magazines or eat ice cream?
A: Madonna
B: Rosie O'Donnell
C: Demi Moore
D: Nicole Kidman

Roseann remembers hearing about this, and says A... and she's right!

There's the horn. Roseann will return tomorrow.
