Kimbell (Connie, Jenny, Karolin, Joann, Candice); $755
Fuerst (Mark, Jenna, Kyle, Marnie, Jim)

We're back where we left off with the Kimbells after a few Friday specials. Round 1: something two people can ride at the same time (7). Connie fires with a bike, number one. The Kimbells also get car, motorcycle, horse, amusement ride, and jet ski. The Fuersts go with sled. Not there! The Kimbells get 95. Other answer: bus.

Round 2: when in Las Vegas, something a wife might do while his husband gambles (6). Jenna, ever intent... goes gambling, #3. Kyle hits the number one with shop. The Fuersts also see a show. The Kimbells try to steal with a spa... Got it for 162! Other answer: walk/sightsee, drink.

Double Round: a short phrase containing the word "mind" (5). Kyle goes with mind over matter for #3. That's it for them, as the Kimbells try mind your business... Number one! The Kimbells get 188! Other answers: a mind is a terrible thing to waste, lose my/your mind, mind-boggling.

Triple Round: a kind of place you might work where you'd really put on the pounds (4). Joann gets #1, a restaurant. Bakeries, ice cream parlors... and a candy shop? The Fuersts hope so... YES! They have 249 and we go into...

Sudden Death: something people serve instead of turkey at Thanksgiving. That's Candice... "Ham." YES! The Kimbells are still champs, 413-248.

Connie scores 138 with top answers for "how many headaches you get in a week" (one), "Something people eat at a barbecue" (ribs), and "occupation often portrayed on TV" (doctor). Yes, Richard, that WAS in a movie. Candice gets 200 the hard way for a two-day take of $20,755.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Eleanor Ainslie (medical student from Philadelphia); $24,500, two days
Joanna Stromberg (attorney from Bethesda, MD); $11,200
Tawney Pearson (teacher orig. from Peoria, IL)

We're going railroading with two champs today. That's one of six picks today as Eleanor starts with $200 Science Fiction. At the TV time out, Joanna plays like she's been champ longer than Eleanor, as she leads, $2200 to her $400. Tawney has $800.

Back to Science Fiction, as Eleanor picks up the Daily Double under $600. Trailing with $1600, she goes for the lead with $1200. The clue: credited with formulating the "three laws of robotics", he said the idea came from his editor John Campbell. "Who is Isaac Asimov?" Right for $2800 and the lead by herself! Won't last, though, as Joanna takes $4200 at the half, and Tawney takes $3000. Eleanor remains at $2800 and starts Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Anatomy. She rockets into third, but Joanna finds the first Daily Double under $1200 2-Sport Terms. She bets $2000 on this: one player on a hockey team is paid to do this, a violation in basketball. "What is block shots?" Close, it's goaltend, leading Joanna with $2200. Eleanor finds the second Daily Double under $1200 Newspapers, betting $2500 here: "the newspaper of Silicon Valley", this San Jose paper got its name from another element mined in the area. No idea... She should've gone with the San Jose Mercury News. She not has $9500. She ends with that much, while Tawney has $6200. Joanna is the longshot today with $1000.

Final Jeopardy! in "Characters in 18th Century Plays": this Englishwoman's name comes from the French for "badly suited to the purpose". Correct question: Who is Mrs. Malaprop?

There won't be a tie today, as Eleanor remains champ by her lonesome, picking up $16,900 for a three-day take of $41,400. Joanna leaves with $12,200.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
Starting today's show: Carolyn Goggin, Jacqueline Degrandas, Taria Livingston, Cody Lawson, and a motorcycle. It goes for $2729 and it goes to Cody, who gets to play for two stationary items: a safe and a sofa. The safe is marked $1265. The sofa is marked $2097. Should they stay or should Cody Switch? He switches... and wins!

Carolyn gets her bidding jones back (she bid $4500 on that motorcycle in round 1) to win a $789 bookcase. But how will she do with a phone, a quartet of backpacks, and a Pontiac Vibe? The game is 10 Chances... and it takes two to win the phone (numbers: 8, 9, 0) worth $80, and the other eight for the backpacks (3, 4, 0, 6)... and she doesn't even win those. They were $630.

Carole Ludwick is a one-round wonder, winning a washer/dryer worth $918. She gets a shot at a trip to Alaska playing the Grocery Game. The groceries: Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, Dreamfields penne rigate, St. Joseph's Companion, Hot Pockets, and Garlique. She buys six bottles of the dressing, each worth $2.99, giving her $17.94. One Hot Pockets puts her at $20.23, and that's a win!

But back to Cody, who picks up 10 Benjamins on the Mighty Price is Right Wheel...

Jacqueline picks up a barbecue grill worth $779 to start the second half. She'd like to start it in a hot tub, but she has to figure out whether she's Coming ($5996) or Going ($6995). She's Going.... and she's a winner!

Esther Luna picks up tennis equipment in round 5 worth $650... but it can be worth so much more, because it's time to play PLINKO! With chips from Bob, an $18 clock, and a $39 hair dryer, she racks up $10,000 on her first chip! In total: $10,500.

John Baker III gets dinnerware worth $1643 and a chance at a new Ford Focus! The game is Money Game, and the board is...

50 18 17
16 44 90
80 30 65

Middle number is 0. First up, 16... and that's $16. Then comes 17... $17. Then 18... Front of the car! After another money card worth $65, he goes with 30... John wins an $18,030 car and $98 for gas! Not only that, he picks up the high spin to win a trip to the Showcase!

First up: prizes designed for the impatient, a microwave oven, a trip to London, and a Dodge Charger. Top winner John bids $70,000. Yeow... Anyway, Cody gets something for every room in the house! For the bedroom: a brass bed with sleep set. For the game room, a popcorn cart. For the living room, a grandfather clock. For the family room, a player piano. Going on the counsel of the audience, he has no choice but to bid one dollar. Actual price: $18,454. Difference: $18,453. John's Showcase.... only $29,628. Cody takes the day today with $25,545.

Stats: 5-1, $68,848.

Yesterday, Kathryn Markey (New York, NY) reached the $2,000 level, using a lifeline to get there. Time to see how she does today, on this fine Groundhog Day...

Two things that Kathryn likes to do: rock out with a band, and knit with a group called "Knitters from Hell". When she started out, she liked to knit sweaters with skulls and flames on them. Interesting... Anyway, the game resumes, and she is on a roll heading into this...

[$25,000]
According to FBI statistics, which of these U.S. cities had the fewest per-capita incidents of violent crime in 2004?
A: Phoenix
B: San Diego
C: Chicago
D: Houston

Kathryn decides to call Chris, who thinks it's B, but isn't sure. Kathryn then uses the 50:50, leaving B and C. She goes for it, saying B... and she has $25,000! Another question later, and she faces this...

[$100,000]
The original design of the White House was inspired by what country's current parliament building?
A: Denmark
B: Italy
C: Ireland
D: Greece

Kathryn has a guess, but she's not sure enough, so she switches it out. She thought D, but it was C, so it's a good thing she switched. Now, let's see if she has any better luck with this one...

[$100,000] (Q)
In 2004, the fossils of Homo floresiensis, a "hobbit-sized" human species, were discovered in what country?
A: Chile
B: Pakistan
C: Tanzania
D: Indonesia

Kathryn gives it some thought, but she doesn't want to risk what she has, so she walks. She would have guessed A, but it was D, so it was another good move for Kathryn, who leaves with $50,000!

Next up is Carla Gilruth (Montclair, NJ), an art teacher whose friends compare her to Martha Stewart (minus the jail time, of course). Carla gets right to it by knowing that by definition, a safari is an expedition during which travelers attempt to make sightings of wild animals (though if you were to see Jeff Probst in shorts, you'd likely have stumbled across a taping of a new season of Survivor). Carla gets through the lower tier, then has this...

[$2,000]
Located in a London cemetery, what historic man's tombstone reads "Workers of All Lands Unite"?
A: Isaac Newton
B: Charles Darwin
C: Karl Marx
D: Winston Churchill

Carla says that one answer is screaming out at her, but fearing that it may be a wrong answer, she asks the audience. 62% of the studio audience and 52% of the AIM users say C. That's what she thought it was, so she goes with C... and it's C! A couple of questions later, and she then faces this one...

[$16,000]
For decades, what natural event has been depicted on the cover of L. Ron Hubbard's mega-selling book "Dianetics"?
A: Solar eclipse
B: Volcanic eruption
C: Tidal wave
