Chapter 8-Last Call...or
not
Last week, Purple got a spot in last place getting a
spot in temple, while Green won and gave the suhmadi
to Red giving them a handicap for the next mission.
Will Purple garner a win to stay off the temple, or
will anyone else escort Purple to temple?
Daniela says she's so mad, she really wants to win.
Meanwhile, Jonathan said Issac had his back against
him and over at the swing, Mike said it's all 3
against them with Issac including 2 more players.
Daniela, according to J.D., is the #1 Endurance fan,
and she gets her favorite challenge which is...
TODAY'S CHALLENGE: FIREBALL
Well, Daniela, you asked for it, and here it is. All
the teams have to do is catch a ball while the
partners use slingshots. 1 miss, and you're gone, but
1 catch, and you're in. The last one standing wins the
whole thing in a nutshell. Purple needs this one to
win, but Red with a 10-ft. disadavntage wants to win
badly. Let's have the first go-round starting
right...now! The 1st 3 teams all but missed one shot,
but Orange caught it 1st, and Green went 2nd for the
catch. Green wants Blue to sit out, and then who
wanted Orange to take out somebody? It was Purple. And
Purple is already going to temple. And Daniela is
about to cry. Who else will be sent home crying? As we
start the 2nd go-round, Orange missed it, but Red
missed it, too. Orange was the only team to catch it,
sending Orange out of here. the 3rd go-round started
with Green caught 1st, and Red catching 2nd. Both
teams have a perfect catch. If Red goes catching with
a disadvantage, they'll win this mission. 4th
go-round: Green catches it first, and Red...misses it,
meaning that Red has won the whole thing.
After the game, Mike says he doesn't want him as a
rat, but Kylie says the other girls were sorry to have
Mike as a partner. Meanwhile, Jezsie says Blue wants
to be kept safe according to Issac, but Issac on the
confessional cam says he doesn't want Blue here or
either Orange, but Jezsie doesn't agree with him.
Outside the cabins, tears were flowing on Purple &
Orange, and Green, is sending Orange to temple. this
is why they were crying over it. Daniela is
disappointed about going to temple, Jonathan says he's
so incredibly bummed out if Orange loses, Mike says he
sticks by his true friends on Endurance, and Kylie
said they would rather have purple back if they lost.
Who would win this temple game?
Here's the deal: It's a fire-water-wood game and you
predict the outcome, 2 rounds can win the extended
stay, while the loser checks out.
ROUND 1
Orange: FIRE
Purple: WATER
Outcome: Water puts out the fire
Advantage: Purple: 1-0
ROUND 2
Purple: WOOD
Orange: WATER
Outcome: Wood floats on water
Advantage: Purple: 2-0
It's a 2-round sweep for Purple, sending Orange out of
this game for good. Next week, it's the final 4.
Tempers will flare and tears will flow out the door.
See you laterz, everyone!

We get a nice new set, but the
same 2 colors as the teams are ready for battle. With a new
set, we have new games as well. The first one is human
shuffleboard, where the person has to get on a surfboard and
glide down a path. They have to get within the yellow
boundary, because should they go too far, they will wind up in
a pool of water. The Green team manages to get the boat in
twice (Vs. Yellow team's 1) so they get the first win.
We get a concert for you next, and that winds right into
Megamatch Idol. The Green team beats down the Yellow team 8-3
to win that one. They also have a side game where the Green
team's singer has a longer lasting note than the yellow team.
Green seems to be cleaning up so far.
Can the Green Team continue it on the Aguadores? Probably not,
as they only get one person over. All Yellow has to do is to
get 2 people over and they win. They get more than that as
they win 4-1 and finally get on the board.
Once again, it comes down to the trivia competition. The
Yellow team does come back, but they don't come back enough as
Green gets the win and 4 mintes.
We also have a new game board. We start with assorting pails,
then a trip to the potion room, then a navigation through the
string jungle, and then a trip to toilet paper your teammate.
Time runs out before we get to that wacky bowling pin room.
We start the second hour with
Hang On, which the Green Team blows through. Everyone gets to
blow through...dancing and singing, which is next.
Can the Yellow team get back on their brains? We play a new
game that requires the kids to answer questions from a list of
words that they can see the first 3 letters from. Green gets 2
right. Yellow gets... 3 right so they do tie the score.
Next up is The Aguadores. The Yellow team get back to their
usual 2.5 worth of suck, so the Green team get 4 and edge them
out.
Once again, the Yellow team has to play catch up in the trivia
round. Once again, they fall short as they lose, 5:50 to 4:10.
This time, the Green team actually has some time that they can
do some damage with...
...but can they? In addition to the rooms, there's now a
flashing red/yellow/green light, and if the red light flashes,
that means that they don't win the prize. Well, that sucks.
Anyways, the contestant gets all the way to the bowling pin
room and that's where time runs out. He could have gotten
further, but he spend ages wrapping up his teammate.
Lots of new changes, but some of them are for the worse. Why
be in a position where a prize could be taken away? We'll tune
in next week to see if they make any more changes - and if any
of them are actually any good. |
