Johnson (Scott, Amy, Eric, Kelli, Kati); $20,360, two days
Bigler (Deanna, Nicole, CJ, Amber, Cheryl); $335

The Biglers face a returning challenger, as the Johnsons (they of the comedic false teeth routine) take advantage of a technical fault. Round 1: 100 married men, something you wouldn't buy without first asking your wife (7). Scott fires, just to see if the thing works, then Deanna fires with #1, car. Rest of the family follows with lingerie (under clothes). The house is good for the Johnsons, as they take the 64. Other answers: jewelry, furniture, tools, dinner/food.

Round 2: if your dog won best in show, something he'd do with his trophy (6). Nicole gets #2, eat on it. BUT she elects to pass. The Johnsons get bury it, play with it, lick it, pee on it, and the number one answer... Chew it up! They get the sweep and 145.

Double Round: something that starts with the words "the big" (5). CJ gets #2, the Big Easy. Amber gets "The Big Lebowski," #5. Deanna gets #1, the Big Apple! The Johnsons try to steal with Big Dipper... Not there! The Biglers get 92. Other answer: the big one (said!), the big kahuna (also said!).

Triple Round: something brothers borrow from each other (4). Amber hits money with clothes. Also up: money, cars, and... advice? Good but no... The Johnsons have one more shot with "tools"... Could've went with Amy who said "girlfriends." Good thing you didn't! Johnsons win, 373-92.

Eric & Kati face Fast Money for the first time since last Monday... Eric gets 116... Kati gets the other 86! That's $20,000, giving them a three-game take of $40,360.

Jeopardy! by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or jeopardy.com
Host: Alex Trebek
Bob Mesko (arts administrator from Denver); $42,399, three days
Miranda Schwartz (copy editor from New York City)
Glenn Barnes (non-profit development director from Watertown, MA)

Bob has had some tough foes before, but this batch just might prove to be the toughest. He starts with $200 "Song"s. At the TV time out, Miranda just ekes out of the red with $200 to Glenn's $1000 and Bob's $2600.

Bob finds the Daily Double under $800 5-Syllable Words. With the lead at $5000... and Alex really would love to see $10,000, but Bob only goes $1000. The clue: having many sides, like diplomatic talks among more than 2 parties. "What is multilateral?" Right on for $6000! After we learn why Alex like "Stupid Answers", Bob holds onto his lead with $6800 to Miranda's $3800. Glenn, who missed the last clue, has $800 and gets first pickings on Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Poets & Poetry, but later finds himself in Graduate School, facing the Daily Double under $1200. He bets $2000 on this: these 2 institutes of technology are tied atop the latest US News ranking of physics grad school. "What are Massachusetts Institute of Technology and California Institute of Technology?" Right on both for $6400. Bob, meanwhile, finds the second Daily Double under $1600 the US Air Force. In second by $4600, he bets $5000 here: fitting name of a unit between group & division, like the 509th Bomb one or 349th Air Mobility one. "What is a squadron?" Nope, it was a wing, and Bob ends in third with $5400 to Glenn's $8400 and Miranda's $15,000.

Final Jeopardy! in "Civil Rights": on August 6, 2005, an Atlanta march supported extending the Voting Rights Act signed by this President. Correct question: Who was Lyndon B. Johnson?

Bob is right for the doubler, but Miranda is going to be the new champ with $16,801. Bob leaves with $43,399.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  11a ET/10a CT on CBS (markets may vary)
Host: Bob Barker
A preemption keeps this one short on the east coast.  We know thanks to our friends at Golden-Road.net that Jeanine won a fridge/freezer, but lost One Wrong Price. That's where we will join in.

Gregory Petrowski's mother came on down to meet Bill Cullen, but now it's his turn, as he wins a stepchest. Mama Petrowski never had to contend with the Five Price Tags, though. The choices: $15,612, $17,845, $18,930, $16,767, and $19,135. Winning an alarm gets him one crack at a Jeep Wrangler. He goes with $18,930... Wrong. It was $19,135.

Joseph Patrick is also a one-round wonder, winning a 3-in-1 game table. But will he head to Mexico City? That depends... should he flip to $2684, flop to $6248, or Flip Flop to $2648? He Flip Flops... and tell Marco Antonio Regil we said "what up!" But first, take a stop at the Showcase. You're the big Showdown winner.

David wins two scooters to start the second half,b ut can this sprint runner hit the Bullseye? A jet ski is his if he does. He takes 8 Little Debbie Honey Buns. Each one is $1.39, total OF...  $11.12! Bullseye!

Baltimore babe Linda Bates is today's third one-and-done player (not counting the first-four), winning a pair of portable media players. But what she really wants is a Ford Escape, and she'll win it if she knows when That's Too Much! Remember, say it like you mean it. She does at $20,155. And that's... TOO MUCH! She wins the $19,995 car.

Seems like the blue spot is the hot spot as John David Gossa gets the final game and a set of luggage. He now tries to two LCD TVs and a pool table in Magic #. John's magic # is 1451. The pool table is... $2195. The TVs are... $1199! But no more magic for John as Linda gets the second Showcase spot.

First up: what students really want: a trip to Orlando, a CD jukebox, and a Pontiac Vibe. Linda bids $28,400. Joseph gets a new bedroom with sleep set, 24 visits from The Maids, and a jacuzzi. He bids $32,000. Actual price: $25,622. And over he goes... Linda's actual price... $29,292! She wins with $49,985 in prizes! If she went $29,000 even, she would've won more, but hey, she gets green on-screen anyway.

Stats: 4-2, $70,783.

Tara and Rashead solve THE INCREDIBLE HULK for $12,000. They win with $21,098 in cash and cruise! Deuce and Susie leave with $3,000 for Susie and $10,000 for Deuce's Charity. Cathy and Jason leave with $8,100 and $10,000 for his charity.

Again, the only way for Tara to win the Super Bowl trip is to hit the $100,000 envelope. Can we have 2 in one week? She lands on the third 0 in $100,000. Her category is PHRASE. With the RSTLNE we have:

S _ _ _ R _ N _

She picks GKC A and we have:

S _ _ A R _ N G
_ _ _

And unfortunately, they didn't have it. It was SQUARING OFF. They missed $25,000. But Tara is going to the Caribbean and $21,098 in cash and prizes.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Don Harpwood, GSNN

Air time:  Check listings or millionairetv.com
Host: Meredith Vieira
Last time, Karen Hasty (Harrah, OK) got to $16,000, using 2 lifelines to get there. How will she fare today?

Karen may seem sweet, but don't let that fool you; she happens to be a "biker chick", and she likes to ride on the back of her husband's motorcycle. And the "biker chick" is ready to keep going with this game...

[$25,000]
Funded in part by a pet food company, a study released in 2005 found that cats are genetically unable to taste what flavors?
A: Sour
B: Bitter
C: Salty
D: Sweet

The 50:50 leaves C and D. Karen goes for it, saying D... and she has $25,000! On to the upper tier...

[$50,000]
The planet Venus is surrounded by a thick layer of clouds composed of what concentrated substance?
A: Sulfuric acid
B: Ammonia
C: Hydrogen gas
D: Methane

Karen is leaning towards A, but she's not sure enough, so she switches it out. Maybe she should have gone for it, though, because it was indeed A. But it's too late now; here comes another one...

[$50,000] (Q)
Pearl Jam's 1991 album "Ten" was named after the uniform number of what NBA player?
A: Mookie Blaylock
B: Vlade Divac
C: Otis Birdsong
D: Dennis Johnson

It's a free guess, so Karen goes with A... and she's right! We hear the crowd chanting Karen's name, before this next question...

[$100,000]
Of these famous children's book authors, who was the only one to have had children?
A: Lewis Carroll
B: Hans Christian Andersen
C: Roald Dahl
D: Beatrix Potter

Karen has an inkling, thinking it's C, but she ponders whether or not to go for it. After some time, she decides to just walk. But wouldn't you know it? It was C! Oh well, at least she has $50,000!

Next up is John Colón (Orlando, FL). He's a risk-taker, and he says he wants to go all the way to the million bucks, no matter what. I wonder if he'll stay true to that, since Meredith mentions that others before him who also said they'd go all the way didn't. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. John starts by knowing that pride, greed, lust, anger, gluttony, envy, and sloth are often known as the "seven deadly sins". Despite a brief scare at the $1,000 question, he gets through the lower tier, and at this point, he shows signs of, um, giddiness. Anyway, he keeps going, and eventually, he faces this...

[$16,000]
"Easy peasy" and "lovely jubbly" are some of the colorful expressions favored by what celebrity chef?
A: Rachael Ray
B: Jamie Oliver
C: Bobby Flay
D: Mario Batali

John asks the audience. 45% of the studio audience says A, and so does 36% of the AIM users. John trusts them... but they're wrong! 20% of the studio audience and 18% of the AIM users had the right answer, which was B! Ouch. I really wanted to see John go much farther, but unfortunately, this sends him home with $1,000.

Now, Bob Dolmetsch (Arlington Heights, IL) gets his shot in the hot seat, and he seems really excited. When he got the call telling him that he'd be on the show, he called everyone. But no one was home. He just kept getting voicemail. And despite the fact that he didn't have the money (yet), he wanted to buy a car. But if he wins the million, he says he'll finally retire. Bob starts by knowing that a person who is in a bad mood is often accused of having gotten up from "the wrong side of the bed in the morning". He then makes it to $1,000.

That's all for today. Bob will return tomorrow, possibly more excited than he already showed himself to be.
