Chapter 7-Waterbagged!
Endurance returns with all-new episode. Last time, The
weak team powered over the strong super teams, sending
Yellow & Red to tempe, leaving Yellow gone without a
trace. Who else will be gone today?
We start with Franke saying that the temple felt a mix
of sad & happy, and Issac says that 1/2 of the
original 20 are gone. Over at the cabin, the guys wat
to know who they want to give their piece to. Jonathan
says a lot of people do not trust Mikey. But who else
can they trust in this game? J.D informs the players
to come out of their cabins, and when he told about
the Yellow team, they controlled this game. Green read
a note left by Yellow giving the trust piece to Red,
putting them tied with Green with 2 while everybody
else has 1. J.D. informs us that today's Endurance
mission is about not coming in last, and if they do,
they'll guarantee a spot in temple tomorrow.
TODAY'S CHALLENGE: BLANKET BARRELED
On the line is a luck piece and a sahmadi for one team
at a disadvantage. Our teams will carry water using a
piece of canvas and fill the water to the rim. Whoever
is first wins the game, and if J.D. mentions if your
team is in last place, you are reserved a spot in
temple. With that...Let's Go! Orange drops some water
first, and Green is the first to fill the water first.
Green & Blue are in a bind for first, and there's
water covered in mud. If Green can win this thing,
they'll tie with Red. Right now, Red's catching up
with Blue, and Red is deadlocked with Green, but it's
a battle for 1st? Who won? It was...Green! And the
race continues as Red is safe, and so does Blue. It's
now down to Orange & Purple, and Orange is safe
leaving Purple in dead last. Green is rewarded with
the Luck piece and the sadmadi, but hang in there,
there is a rule twist. Should Purple win the temple
mission, they'll stay out of the temple. This give
Purple a chance to get out of there.
Franke says the challenge was messy, tiring & hard,
and Jon said that the water was 1/2 of what Purple
carried over, but Kylie said it was a big sigh of
relief avoiding last place. Jonathan said the
challenge gave him back a lot of spirit. Over at the
cabin, Daniela was crying about what the heck happened
at the challenge, while Ameila told her it's OK.
Meanwhile, over at the Guys cabin, they want to give
it to Red, and according to Franke, if Green gets the
sahmadi, it'll be the nail in the coffin. The girls,
meanwhile are hanging out with Issac.
All of the players head to the moutains, and J.D. told
them it started with 20, and now it's cut in half.
Issac said he can do whatever he can to win the game,
and Mike said he's loyal to Blue & Gray, but not
betray like his 2 picks. Jeszie said Mike's a good
word despite being considered a rat, and who was the
quietest person according to J.D.? It was Kylie. Green
won that challenege, and passes the sahmadi to...The
Red Team. And inside we get...10 ft. of rope which
will be a disadvantage to the team. Erika said Franke
& herself need to win this mission, and it'll happen
next week. Will the purple team must win to stay out
of temple, or will Red's disadvantage keep Purple in
temple? It's all next week, so goodbye everyone.

The Yellow team is from Caracas
while the Green team is from Ecuador. They are all hear to win
some nice stuff, so let's get to it with Gladiator Hang On
Action! After 3 minutes, we see that the Green Team throttled
the yellow team, 9-2, to win the first game and to grab 2
minutes.
Next up - a concert! Weee!
It's time for the paper chase, so to speak as the contestants
carry pails of paper across a set of spinning poles. Neither
team does a good job, but the Green team does eek it out, 4-2,
so they get the win and a 2-0 game lead.
Maybe the Yellow team can catch up in Megamatch Idol. The
Yellow team does finally get on the board, winning the game
5-2. That gets them time, but...
...can they get enough in the Trivia Round to get past Green?
It turns out that they do - the Green Team gets stalled out at
4 minutes, while the Yellow team edges them out, 4:20 to 4:00.
4:20 on this course, however, is not a lot of time, so Yellow
will have to move quickly. Move quickly he does - he gets
through the library, the potion room, the needle room and
through the model dress. Time runs out on him before he gets
into the Bowling Pin room. His prizes include appliances,
TV/VCR combo, a Range/Oven combo and a Refrigerator.
We start the second hour
playing with pugil sticks as we joust. Green wins the first
match-up in a rout and they get the first blood.
Next up - a concert! We have some soulful samba. Ahhhhh.
We continue with the Aguadores. Yellow has traditionally
sucked at this event, and they continue to as they only
get...1. Green gets 4, and they win the event.
Yellow's only chance is to score very well in the trivia
competition. Amazingly enough, they do. Once again, they come
from behind, and once again, they win 4:40 to 4:00.
And once again, expect them to get to the model room, and
that's it. They win the same stuff. Whoopie. Let's see next
week if anyone can hit the 5 minute mark. |
