TOURNAMENT 4
EPISODE 4
Where can you see lions? Only in Kenya. Go to Kenya; they got lions. Where can you see card sharks? Forget Norway and go to Vegas. Where can you see celebrities play no-limit poker for charity. Only on CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN from the Palms Casino. Kenya believe it?
All five of these are celebrity POKER newbies...but ONE has had experience with ANOTHER celeb casino game:
CELEBRITY | BIO |
Chevy Chase playing for Friends of the Earth |
He's Chevy Chase...and you're not. From Saturday Night Live to the big screen, the legendary comic has had us laughing for decades. But will he hit a hole-in-one here or fall flat on his face like always? |
Donny Deutsch playing for Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research |
He's the Chairman & CEO of Deutsch Inc., an advertising agency. He's also the host of the The Big Idea. Will he think up a good way to win this table or will he be "fired" from it? |
Shannon Elizabeth playing for Animal Avengers |
Waaaaay back at the first tournament, this "American Pie 2" actress didn't fair too well. Can she avenge her last defeat or will she have pie in her face yet again? |
Kathy Griffin playing for the Rape Foundation |
The queen of celebrity game and reality shows has returned to avenge her terrible loss last tournament. Will she make it TWO Celebrity Mole winners at the Final Table or will she be "suddenly roadkill" again? |
Neil Patrick Harris playing for American Red Cross |
Neils' been busy being in films like "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" and "Starship Troopers"...but he'll ALWAYS be known as Doggie Howser, MD. Will he operate well under pressure or will this be "Neil Goes to the Loser's Lounge"? |
Each celebrity will start with $10,000 worth of chips and the game will continue until one celebrity has all $50K in his/her possession, thus winning the "coveted" silver chip and making him/her eligible for the Final Table later in the year. At the announcers' position beside the Losers' Lounge are host Dave Foley and poker expert Phil Gordon. They'll be calling the action emanating from the main room.
All right, let's stop squealin' and start dealin'. As Tournament Director Robert Thompson says, let's SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL!
Initial blinds are $100 (SB) and $200 (BB). The Dealer
Button (D) starts on Macaulay.
(As per tradition, the hosts pick a winner. Dave picks Donny while Phil picks Shannon.)
