Here we go again with the third rendtion of CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN, the serious cash-money tournament that plays like Beverly Hills home games!  There will, as always, be five games of five celebs each, with the winner of each game advancing to the Final Table and a big piece of the $250,000 Prize Pool for his/her charity. (No telling who put up the Prize Pool this time around).

Remember West Wing night during the first tournament? Well, tonight is Arrested Development night. All but one of the players at the table have played on the hit FOX comedy:

CELEBRITY	BIO
Will Arnett playing for Children's Action Network	Will plays George Oscar 'Gob' Bluth, a con man and failed magician who makes the family's life miserable. Will he disappear quickly...or will he manage to make a fool out of everyone at the table?
Jason Bateman playing for the Los Angeles Free Clinic	He's the star of the show, widower and reluctant leader of the development company Michael Bluth, though he USED to be in The Hogan Family and Silver Spoons. Will he leave with a silver chip...or will his goody-good nature be of no use?
David Cross playing for National Gulf War Resource Center	The man who plays brother-in-law Tobias Funke was the runner-up of the first tournament...and, by far, the most entertaining. Will he make it all the way to the gold chip this time around...or will he visit the Lounge for the first time?
Peter Facinelli playing for World Vision	Peter plays...wait, he was NEVER in Arrested Development. But the Fastlane and Six Feet Under star WAS in the first CPS tournament. Will he actually make it to the Final Table this time...or will the others arrest him for driving too fast?
Judy Greer playing for American Diabetes Association	Judy has a recurring role as Kitty, a manipulative ex-assistant at the company who is out to take over the business. Will she stage a coup of this table...or will she go down with the ship?

Each celebrity will start with $10,000 worth of chips and the game will continue until one celebrity has all $50K in his/her possession, thus making him/her eligible for the Final Table later in the year.  At the announcers' position beside the Losers' Lounge are host Dave Foley and poker expert Phil Gordon.  They'll be calling the action emanating from the main room.

All right, enough of this.  As Tournament Director Robert Thompson says. let's SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL!

Initial blinds are $50 (SB) and $100 (BB).  The Dealer Button (D) starts on Jason.

So a dejected Jason joins Judy and Will. He wonders if this was the biggest drop in CPS history (that actually goes to Norm McDonald). Dave reminds Jason that Cross had the biggest turn UP in CPS history so this is nothing new. But Jason, being the STAR of their show, can make David pay for it at work...oh, and Los Angeles Free Clinic gets $5000.

OK, it's time for HEADS-UP action again. Will David repeat as champ or can the only non-Arrested Development star at the table overcome a near 2-to-1 deficit. Only one way to find out: SHUFFLEW UP AND DEAL!

And, so, while Peter's World Vision gets $5000 (and Peter compares himself to many-time WPT finalist Phil Hellmuth), David Cross becomes the first-ever two-time CPS Finalist.  The National Gulf War Resource Center has a second chance to win the $100,000 Grand Prize...but only if David doesn't blow it like last time!
