Live Shows Round of 10 Results
May 21

Tonight, two of the top 10 will be departing, leaving only eight to sing for your votes. But that is secondary to the reality of the situation.

Carson opens the show by expressing on behalf of the entire Voice family their heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the victims of Monday's tornadoes in Oklahoma. Blake himself is an Okie, born and raised. He opens the show tonight with his wife Miranda Lambert singing "Over You", a special performance dedicated to their home state. And certainly we at Game Show Newsnet would like to join them in expressing our thoughts and prayers to the many victims of this devastating turn of events. To help disaster victims, please donate at www.redcross.org , or call 1-800 HELP NOW (1-800-435-7669), or you can text REDCROSS to 90999 to instantly donate $10.

Now for a recap. Every artist is among the top 200 on iTunes, 11 singles from this season are on the iTunes country charts, and one of them is #1.

Next up, Shakira joins her team (Kris and Sasha) with the Pretenders' "I'll Stand by You".

Now to go to elimination mode....

Amber Carrington

Judith Hill
Sarah Simmons
Sasha Allen
Kris Thomas
Michelle Chamuel
Josiah Hawley
Danielle Bradbery
The Swon Brothers
Holly Tucker

Now a fun fact. Last night, one singer charted in the top 10, according to the Son of the Bronx, Douglas Pucci. That singer will have his or her or their count multiplied by 10. That singer... will be revealed later.

- .... change that, right now! Danielle Bradbery! (Blake) She charted at #8.
- Judith Hill (Adam)

Next, Danielle, Holly, and the Swon Brothers, collectively known as Team Blake, play some "Mountain Music".

- Michelle Chamuel (Usher)
- Sasha Allen (Shakira)

We'll take a break from elimination to hear Usher join Michelle and Josiah with the Burt Bacharach standard "The Look of Love".

- Sarah Simmons (Adam)

Amber, Judith & Sarah have "Got the Music In Me", but... Amber's still in danger.

- Holly Tucker (Blake)

That leaves Amber, Kris, Josiah, and the Swon Brothers. Two are safe. Two are going home. And we're up against it. So let's get to it.

- Amber Carrington (Adam)
- The Swon Brothers (Blake)

And Team Usher and Team Shakira are left with one a piece as Josiah and Kris are left out in the cold.

Hopefully we'll see brighter skies when the teams assemble for next week's live shows. Until then, remember to support local & independent music!
