Week Thirteen - November 28-29

(C-Note: As always, what follows are televised-hand-by-televised-hand accounts.  Obviously, since it's only an hour show, most hands are not televised so you're going to see a lot of jumping of the dealer button. For more information on this and other poker precepts, visit Chris Wolvie's Poker Primer. In the meantime, here's Robert!)

Week 13 brought us something completely different. First off, there were 2 cohosts today (not including Brandi, who looks a little different this week) The first co-host who did some "Chip Tricks" and poker hints is Antonio "the Magician" Esvadari. The person doing all of the announcing with Chad is The Unabomber Phil Lott.

The Players this week are: Kenny Wagner/Ken James/Kenna James/Eric Nickelson/Clarence Moore/Dr. Andy Robbins/Vandy Krouch.

They are playing for $8,200 and a $4,000 trip to Mexico City.

Hand 1: Vandy bets $2,300 with 7-9 of Hearts, Clarence goes all in with A-Q of Hearts, Vandy calls 3 of spades/8 of spades/ 9 of Diamonds on the flop, J of Hearts on the turn and a 10 of Diamonds on the river allows Clarence to double up.

Hand 2: Eric bets $2,100 with J-10 of Diamonds, Ken W. will call with A-10 of Hearts. 8 of Diamonds/6 of Diamonds/J of Clubs on the flop, Ken W goes all in, Eric calls All in, 9 of Diamonds on the turn and a 2 of Diamonds on the River and Eric doubles up.

Hand 3: Kenna goes all in with with K of Diamonds and Q of Spades, Clarence calls with A of Hearts and a Q of Diamonds. 10 of spades/2 of diamonds/2 of clubs on the flop, Q of Hearts on the turn and a 9 of hearts on the river and Clarence doubles up

Hand 4: Kenna goes all in with his 1 chip with A of clubs and 5 of Diamonds, Clarence calls with A-10 of Diamonds. A of Hearts/3 of Spades/5 of Diamonds on the flop, 9 of Hearts on the turn and a Q of clubs on the river and Kenna goes from 1 chip to 50 chips.

Hand 5: Clarence goes all in with 4 of diamonds and a 2 of clubs, Kenna calls for 1600 with K of spades and 5 of diamonds. Vendy calls with 7 of diamonds and 2 of hearts (the worst starting hand possible in poker). Eric Checks with A-6 of spades. King of hearts/ Q of hearts/7 of Spades on the flop. Vendy bets $4,000, Eric folds, Kenna calls all in. 4 of clubs on the turn and 4 of Hearts on the river. Clarence Miraculously Triples up and Kenna wins the side pot.

Hand 6: Ken W. bets $4,000 with Q-J of clubs, Ken J. goes all in with A of Hearts and 10 of Diamonds. 8 of clubs/9 of diamonds/6 of spades on the flop 4 of diamonds on the turn and a Q of diamonds sends Ken James Packing.

Hand 7: Vandy raises to $4,500 with 6 of spades and 6 of diamonds. Dr. Andy goes all in with A-10 of Spades. J of Diamonds/4 of spades/5 of diamonds on the flop. A of Clubs on the turn and a 8 of spades on the river and Andy doubles up.

Hand 8: Eric goes all in with A-3 of spades, Kenna calls with Q of spades and 10 of hearts. Vandy calls with a 7 of spades and a Q of diamonds. The action got too fast plus with a phone call, all I know about the hand is that Kenna came away with the chips and Eric is out.

Hand 9: Clarence goes all in with 8 of spades and 8 of clubs, Andy raises all in with A of hearts and 10 of clubs. Vandy calls with 6 of hearts and 6 of diamonds. 7 of hearts/Queen of clubs and a Jack of spades on the flop, 10 of hearts on the turn and a J of clubs on the river gives Andy both pots and Clarence is out.

Hand 10: Ken W. goes all in with 2 of diamonds and 2 of clubs. Kenna call swith a of hearts and a 10 of spades. K of clubs/6 of clubs/Q of diamonds on the flop, 5 of diamonds on the turn and a J of hearts on the river and Ken Wagner is out.

Hand 11: Kenna calls with Q of hearts and a 9 of spades, Vandy Checks with A of spades and a 10 of diamonds. 7 of diamonds/8 of spades/10 of hearts on the flop, Kenna goes all in, Vandy calls all in. 4 of clubs on the turn and a 8 of clubs on the river and Vandy doubles up.

Hand 12: Kenna goes all in with K of spades and 9 of diamonds. Vandy calls with A of spades and Jack of clubs. J of Diamonds/8 of Diamonds/10 of hearts on the flop, 2 of hearts on the turn and a 6 of diamonds on the river and Kenna is out.

Hand 13: Andy raised the pot with an A-J of hearts, but Vandy raises all in with 9 of hearts and 9 of spades. Andy calls. 2 of spades/9 of clubs and 6 of clubs on the flop, 5 of clubs on the river and 8 of clubs on the river and Vandy is our champion.

Vandy walks away with $8,200, a $4,000 trip to Mexico City (about time they changed the trip) and a DVD player. Making the take $12,700. Afterwards, Chad asked Phil Lott to come back next week and commentate again. He said yes and that does it for this week, so for Chad, Phil (not Gordon), Brandi, and Antonio. I'm Robert W. Seidelman saying so long and see you next week.
