Round of 11 Results (or "Why The Royal Rumble Left a Dozen Out")
June

We're all getting in into the program of all dancing. The top 11 get set for a big performance, and we're knocking down all 11 of them. Which one is your favorite? Find out and see as we begin our program.

Billy Bell goes first and he likes DIY projects. He won't be doing any as he tag teams with Lauren Gottlieb to do a Broadway routine to "Footloose" done by Tyce Diorio. Billy knocked on the lockers and Lauren came from behind her. She tried to do a flip, but it was a 180. By the end, they were worn out on the lockers.

What Adam Said: I was stunned.
What I said: It was perfect!

Next is Cristina. She's a singer at times, but she's a dancer all the time. Here, she teams up with Mark in a Sonya Tayeh jazz routine to "Starstruck" by Santigold. Cristina had a split after a couple of lifts shown here and interesting pretzel work before doing another split to end it.

What Mia said: Her technique was great for a salsa dancer.
What I said: She could be a great fit for the routine.

We got Jose Ruiz up next. He does Yoga. I'm not kidding. So we get a hip-hop routine with Comfort helping him out. Jose porves his dancing skills worthy with a ground copter move.

What Nigel said: I was happily surprised.
What I said: This wowed me one bit of it.

Next up is Adechieke. He's a student at LaGuardia Arts School. Let's see how he makes the grade as he dances with Kathryn to a Travis Wall Jazz routine. Adechiecke pretends he's working at an office somewhere and Kathryn provides comfort for him and later, Ade takes one of her shoes off. Yikes! The other shoe was taken off and then Kathrn threw the papers away. She runs away and Ade is left with a red shoe.

What Adam said: He didn't go the extra step.
What I said: It seems he's trying harder to make him dance.

Melinda is up and she used to be in a soap opera. Talk about experience. Let's see is she adds more by doing a jive with Pascha. This routine is of course, an example of why she's a super person than a normal person.

What Nigel said: Her leg motions were wide.
What I said: I would ask her to keep it narrow on the movements.

Alex gets ready to dance. He may be a piano man, but I wonder what he does on the floor as he tag teams with Allison doing "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley. Allison did a slow foot slide and Alex did foot hops to let go of the yank. After a monster move, everything else was perfected.

What Mia said: It was the best dance performed on stage.
What I said: I'm with her, too.

Alexie is up next. They were on the original Star Search back in 1991, and Adam Shankman was there, too. Now it's 2010 and she'll go with Twitch doing a hip-hop routine. Alexie raised the blinds and Twitch goes through the window. After a couple of knee slides by him, Alexie gets hung by him. By the end, she closed teh blinds on him.

What Nigel said: It was a bit too sweet for hip-hop
What I said: I think it was a bit tarty.

Lauren goes up next. An elementary school teacher, she's ready to team up with Ade to do a pop jazz routine. Both were frolicking around on the couch and crashed to the floor. Other than that, it looked alright in here.

What Adam said: She's not paying attention to her partner.
What I said: Why is the dancer acting weird?

Kent's up to dance. He partners up with Anya to do a cha-cha to "Lady Marmalade" by Diva Invasion. Both took some spinning solo and neither one of them felt dizzy afterwards for the routine.

What Nigel said: He is compared to Paul Newman.
What I said: He needs more than a slap shot to win this whole thing.

Ashley goes up next. A Tyce Diorio routine is in progress and Neil tag teams the whole thing. This one is about the connection in love, and I love this routine from start to finish.

What Mia said: I didn't know what the emotion was.
What I said: What emotion was the audience trying to give?

Lastly, Robert. Robert Cheeseman has cooked up an African Jazz routine with Courtney as Robert's partner. Both did a few pretzels and did spectacular work with the dance.

What Adam said: The partnership was great.
What I said: It turned out to be fine.

The top 11 have dance all in one show, but for 1 dancer, it might be his or her last dance. The results show will explain everything tomorrow.
