Round of 16 (or "Sharing... and Splitting... the Progressive Wealth")
June 24

Kayla & Max may not be king or queen of the mountain, but they're just jesters when it comes to dancing after being eliminated. A fight for the top on the hill is within someone's grasp, and we have more routines coming for you in just 2 hours. So why not wait and let's get started then.

Joining the ever insane panel is Toni Basil, who'll get the Living Legend of hip-hop award. Don't know how it happened, but we'll move on. Karla & Johnathan will be the first to do a Dave Scott-routine to "By My Side" by Jadakiss w/Ne-Yo. They start out like turtles, but go at it like hares.

What Toni said: the street dance needs groove & funk.
What I said: It looks like they went nowhere on that one.

We'll have Asuka & Vittolo in a minute, but first, the auditions for next season will be in Phoenix on Friday. Wanna sign up? Hit up http://www.fox.com/dance/ for the hookup. Now back to the routine, but this time, a Mandy Moore jazz routine to "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benatar. Many lifts came in throughout the routine.

What Toni said: They have the potential to be an exceptional couple.
What I said: It's a good way to make them a good couple like you've seen here.

And next will be Melissa & Ade doing a rumba to "Emotion" by Destiny's Child, and drawn up by Tony Meredith. They gave them hip movements the crowd looked for.

What Mary said: I'm buying what I'm selling.
What I said: That was off the discount shelves!

Going ahead is Janette & Brandon doing another Dave Scott hip-hop routine to "What A World" by Common. For this routine, they fuse together Rock along with hip-hop for this breathtaking routine.

What Toni said: The couple nailed their connection.
What I said: That fusion between Rock & Hip-hop did work for those 2.

Getting to the stage is Kayla & Kupono, the new couple doing a Viennese waltz done by Jean-Marc Genereaux to "Sweet Dreams" by Jewel. Very beautiful throughout the routine.

What Mary said: It was totally believable & endearing.
What I said: That was very sweet.

Now up is Randi & Evan doing a contemporary routine to "Koop Island Blues" by Koop/Ane Brun. It had quirkiness in the routine.

What Nigel said: I praise the ability to follow through from beginning to end.
What I said: I think there was a lot of butt-shaking for this dance.

Next up is Caitlyn & Jason doing a paso doble to "O Fortuna." They had some warrior-like costumes to keep the attitude of this theme.

What Mary said: A strong performance with a slight loss of posture.
What I said: I think they became warriors in this routine.

And to end it, Jeanine & Phillip doing a Broadway routine to "Moses" from "Singin' In The Rain." It was all about a couch and it ended with a pillow fight, but during the routine, Phillip ripped his pants. Yikes!

What Nigel said: They need to bring the essence of Gene Kelly.
What I said: I think Phillip's pants became a funny moment for all to see.

Well, that's it. The month of June is closing out, and by tomorrow's results show, 2 of them will get slammed in the face. You'll see why tomorrow. Goodnight.
