Making the Top 20 (Or "Taking the Brown M&Ms Out of the Packet")
June 18

Vegas Week was a hell of a week, and by a hell of a week, it gave dancers something out of nothing. Now it's time to make the top 20. Everybody ready?

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

First, the hip-hoppers. Du-Shaunt Stegall aka "Fik-Shun" and Mariah Spears. Fik-Shun brings us the real stuff and brought out the stuff in him. Mariah, on the other hand, dominated with precision and she's the reason why we call it the summer show you took a school vacay for.

Contemporary dancers come in next and all 4 named McKenzie Dustman, Jasmine Harper, Nico Greetham and Tucker Knox all want to learn want this poigant dance brought so many emmy nominations for it.

Next in the department of dance, the tap dancers, a trio of Curtis Holland, Alexis Juliano and Aaron Turner all showcased what it's like to be a New York Coty Rockette......sort of.

On the 4th floor, you'll find animators, and no, not Jason Kotecki or anyone who works for Marvel Comics, I'm talking about Dorian Hector alias "BluPrint" and Jade Zuberi. Once, you get to see arms disappearing into the hats. A rarity these days for anyone interested in it.

If animation's not your thing, try going back to contemporary, where this time, Carlos Garland, Hayley Ebert and Malace Miller do thie thing with a twister-like set. Spinning the wheel, we land on ballroom where Brittany Cherry, Jenna Johnson, Paul Karmiryan and Alan Bersten have a go at it.

Jazz was next on the menu and Amy Yakima and Jasmine Mason dance to a Bjork song.

To end the night, we put in a few group numbers here and there.

You have now seen the top 20. Now put your phone to work, because next week, you get to see who'll stay and go. See you guys later.
