NIGHT 24: IT'S THE GAME WHERE KNOWLEDGE IS KING AND SASH IS QUEEN.

Marty, we hardly knew ye. Actually, we knew enough to make it a near sweep to vote you out of here goodbye. In retrospect, he probably should've seen it coming, playing too hard of a game and all.

Benry, Fabio, and Dan now see where the battle lines are drawn. This according to Brenda. "Now it's only a matter of time before they go." Is it really the king and queen situation that they're playing it out to be? Not really... Sash is the queen.

Meanwhile, Jane and Holly discuss that it's time for a royal dissolution. "Something has to change, and it has to change soon."

DAY 25: ANOTHER RAINY DAY...

The tribe rallies to protect the fire from the elements. This is relevant.

Holly, meanwhile, is jazzed to be 14 days from the end, as she tries to rally troops against Brenda or Sash for a good ol' fashioned uprisin', starting with Benry, who buys it. So an army of one is now two strong. How about three and four, Jane and NaOnka? She says that she didn't come all this way from South Central LA to go home with nothing. If she has to lop off the head of her best friend, so be it.

Chase thinks that it's in his best interest to vote BENRY out, but he thinks that Brenda and Sash will not lie to him. Congratulations, Chase. You're now the shoe.

R-CHALLENGE: GROUND IS HOT LAVA (for volcano boarding and pizza at Cerro Negro)

Two teams of five will have to use two planks, four barrels, and 10 feet of rope to traverse the beach without stepping in the sand. First tribelet to do so wins.

The TEAMS:

BLUE: Chase, Purple Kelly, Jane, NaOnka, Fabio
YELLOW: Sash, Holly, Brenda, Dan, Benry

WINNERS:.... Not even close, BLUE TEAM!

Now, if you've ever been volcano boarding, it's like snow tubing, only the tube is a board, and the snow is hot ash. You have to be really crazy or really daring to even TRY it. Lucky for us that these five are both.

MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE CAMP...

Remember the fire that the tribe was working hard to protect? The wind picks up, the fire goes haywire, and the reality of reality TV gives way to the reality of reality as the supply chests used to shield the fire from the elements are reduced to a cinder.

And the winners at lunch are none the wiser. They talk about who's running the show. Nay takes Fabio to the side and says that the two of them need to take Brenda OUT. She makes a power move and brings Fabio, who admittedly annoys the (^_^) out of her, into the fold.

DAY 27: SOLIDIFYING THE DEAL

Chase tells Brenda of the plan to rub her out, basically giving Holly over to her. "I don't have to do anything crazy to beat them. I'm not even that impressed."

Chase is still on his Benry kick. NaOnka says that she can't trust Chase, as he's playing both sides, telling Benry that Chase wants him out. Benry basically hopes that he grows a pair and knows what's good for him.

And Jane is absolutely correct about Chase... Carolina people don't like being lied to like that.

I-CHALLENGE: CAUGHT ON A ROPE

On a small platform, the tribesmen will tether themselves to a knotted rope which, after every five minutes, will get longer and longer until you're almost horizontal to the water. Last person standing wins.

The order of elimination... Sash... Purple Kelly... Holly... Brenda... Dan... Fabio... NaOnka... and Benry. That leaves Jane and Chase to fight it out...

Winner.... JANE!

Back at camp, Jane is an old dog (trainer) with a few new tricks, most of them involving getting Brenda outta here. Chase and Sash target Benry for elimination. Sash and NaOnka target Brenda for elimination. NaOnka and EVERYONE target Brenda for elimination as well, leaving Sash a little bit exposed. Chase is lobbying hard, which is hard to do when Holly is pretty much everywhere. Basically, Chase doesn't trust anybody... and he's playing with his head a little too late after playing with his heart.

Chase breaks the bad news: Brenda's the target and he doesn't have the numbers to save her. "All I can do is stay cool. The last thing I want to do is start scrambling."

And Chase... is still talking. Will the Idol get played tonight to save Brenda?

NIGHT 27: TRIBAL COUNCIL

Sash thinks that he's out of the loop after Marty's ouster. Brenda regrets her vote, but she had to prove that she could be trusted, not having any issue trusting anyone even in the face of NaOnka breaking ranks. Yes, she just did say that. NaOnka deflects to Chase who's running round with his head cut off. Chase says that this isn't news to anyone. Purple Kelly also feels out of the loop. Brenda asks why Sash would break up the best alliance, and why would Chase let her in on it. Brenda says she did little things that would help, but she didn't scramble at all.

A lot of scrambling tossing about. Just not from Brenda, who says that it's beneath her.

Time to vote...

Holly: BRENDA - "You should've scrambled."

Brenda: NAONKA - "You were my real true enemy. I thought you were my friend."

The rest of the vote...

Purple Kelly: BENRY

Everyone else.... BRENDA. By a vote of 8 to 1 to 1, Brenda... THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
