DAY 15: PACK IT UP, PACK IT IN...

Dan sees a another storm on the clouds and let's Holly know. He ALSO let's Holly know that...well, he's thinking of quitting. He claims he can't take another 3 1/2 weeks of the weather. Holly knows, though, that quitting is not an option once you've signed up for this game; you either stay the course...or you should've never come in the first place.

Yve talks with Holly about the blind-siding of Tyrone. Holly THOUGHT Yve was in an alliance with Ty...but Yve venemently denies it. Holly ALSO makes the mistake of telling Yve about Dan wanting out. Damn. Yve says it right: ya gotta do what ya gotta do to stay alive in this game.

REWARD/IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: RINGS IN THE SAND

We meet Uncle Jeff on Challenge Beach and he takes the Immunity Idol back from La Flor (who sees us sans Tyrone, making their elders whisper "Awesome"). He then tells us, "Tribal Immunity is NOT what you're playing for today". He then shows two INDIVIDUAL Immunity Idols that they will be playing for. Ut oh...it's the dreaded double Tribal Council day, isn't it?

Here's how it works. Each tribe will have its tribemates digging in sand pits for rope rings with an oar. They then use the oar rto place it in a basket strapped to their waist over their cabooses. Once the ring's in the basket, the player runs back to the starting point and puts it on a stand. First tribe member to get three rings on their stand gets Individual Immunity at their Tribal Council that night.

But that's not all! The ones who get Immunity will then face-off in a rope ring toss, the object to get the three rope rings on the hooks. Toss all the rings, run to pick up any misses, go back to the starting point and toss again. First to do so wins REWARD for their tribe! The BAD news: the winning tribe goes FIRST at Tribal to vote someone out. The GOOD news: they stick around to watch the losing tribe's Council...while feasting on chicken and beef kabobs!

Espada loses the roshambo contest so the seven members of the once-older tribe go first. "Survivors, ready...GO!" We run...we sift...we find the rings. But getting them in the basket...not so easy. Holly is the first to do so and takes the lead, Alina and Yve close behind. Holly nails her second without hitch. Dan struggles with his FIRST ring (needless to say he's got zero chance). Benry catches up quick, being the third with two rings behind Holly and Alina. The girls each find their final ring and toss...but Alina's slips off the rim! Holly's is caught ON the rim and, with a bootiy-shake, slips it in. Run back, hang it up...

HOLLY WIN IMMUNITY!

Now we watch La Flor fight over each other for the other necklace...and, much to the anger of others, it's Jill who wins. So...two elders will face off for the feast. Immune Survivors ready...GO!

Takes a while (and severaly re-gathering of rings) before Holly hangs one up. But, right after that, Jill nails TWO in a row! Holly manages to tie it up. It's toss-gather-toss-gather-toss-gather...who will hang it first?!

It's Jill! LA FLUR WINS REWARD! They get to feast while we stew! Oh,...and they vote someone out first.

AFTERNOON 15: DAN DAMNED...OR YVE OF DESTRUCTION?

Holly apologizes for not getting the tribe a feast and they're cool with that. She's scared of the numbers game, though; without Ty, the younguns outnumber the original Espadas four-to-three. Best to go with the majority, she thinks.

First she talks with Dan...who doesn't know what do. He doesn't NEED the money, but now he doesn't want to lay his torch down. The young Espadas are leaning towards ousting Yve, wanting to go to the merge (whenever THAT is) with the strong Dan than the smart Yve. But Chase only trusts NaOnka and thinks the best thing for HIM might be to ditch Dan. He talks with NaOnka about it, and SHE wants Dan gone due to (what else?) his bum knees.

Yve tells NaOnka and Alina about Dan wanting out (way to go, Holly) and tries to convince them to give him his earlier wish. Alina's argument is that Yve plays harder than Dan...and, thus, she's the bigger threat to the tribe. Chase talks to Holly later on about that very subject. "You've gotta tell me what to think," begs Holly. NaOnka pushes for Dan's boot-out but wants to be kept in the loop about who's voting for whom. The debate continues between "weakest link" and "biggest threat" until the sun sets.

TRIBAL COUNCIL: WHO'S GETTING SHISH-ED
(CLICK HERE TO READ WHAT HAPPENED IN DETAIL WITH LA FLUR AT THEIR TRIBAL COUNCIL.)

After La Flor boots out Kelly B. after a very heated debate and a tie-breaker vote, we march into the Church of Doom and watch with severe droolage as the other tribe munches on meat and sips on beer and soda. They can't talk; they can only munch and observe...and that seems fine by them.

Oh, yeah, it's hard to watch them feasting. NaOnka ain't even LOOKING. Holly would've given up her Immunity to let the tribes trade places. Dan's not bothered with the ice clinking: "If it's not a martini, it doesn't bother me." Only thing that WOULD bother Dan is being voted out. Yve tells Uncle Jeff about Dan not wanting to stay...and the debate begins. Dan says its not enjoyable but he does it, Yve says they need more "positive energy" within the tribe. Dan says he IS a liability in Challenges but he's in there swinging, Yve says she is swinging as well but DOESN'T feel like a liability. Dan says there's animosity between them and Yve DOES feel the heat. Dan thinks Yve is arrogant and Yve says it's not HER talking about all HER money and cars and houses.

Hey, hey...there are five other opinions here. Benry says Dan's a liability but he ain't stupid. Alina clearly says the choice tonight is between Dan and Yve.

Before the vote, La Flor takes a hike (and Marty whispers, "Good luck, man" to Dan while trailing behind). Holly remains immune. We see Yve's vote for Dan...and vice-versa (only Dan writes "Eve"). Holly takes some time to write her vote. Once she does, Uncle Jeff tallies and reads 'em out:

Eve...

Dan...

Yve...

Yve...

Yve!

Another unanimous vote...and Yve is outta here..

Based on the vote, Uncle Jeff thinks Espada is unified. Based on what was HEARD, though...not so much. We think about that heading back home.
