A Sinking Ship
May 6

Candice has flipped to vote with the Villains.

Sandra has flipped back to vote with the Villains.

Rupert believes the only heroes left in the game are himself and Colby

Parvati thinks Russell wasted an immunity idol.

And Russell thinks it's time to raise some hell.

That's because on this week's Survivor there are going to be 2 immunity challenges and 2 Tribal Councils.

But no, this episode is not sponsored by Doublemint gum.

Rupert has another belief that hasn't been shared yet. He thinks Russell is worse than Jonny Fairplay. He then goes after Russell in public (as public as camp can be). He calls Russell out for swearing on his kids and says that Russell only cares about himself.

Russell seems tickled by this and remind Rupert that he is a villain and could care less.

Well, DUUUUUUUHHH!

Feeble attempts to assassinate Russell's non-existent character behind us, we move to reward.

Or should we say immunity as there will be no reward this week.

Each Survivor will stand atop a small wooden perch and have one arm overhead tethered to a bucket. All they have to do is keep the arm up to keep the bucket from dumping its liquid contents on top of them.

But there will be temptations...

Parvati has won this before lasting over 6 hours and Rupert has lasted multiple hours himself.

As the challenge begins, Probst brings out a tray.

Both Sandra and Russell say they want it. Without even knowing its contents they step down and receive cookies and milk.

So, one minute in we are down two survivors. Probst brings out another tray revealing donuts and iced coffee. Colby steps down for it. We continue.

all the girls are chattering about the fact that someone needs to beat Rupert. They decide Parvati can do it alone just in time for Tray number 3: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.

Candace, Danielle and Jerri all come off leaving Parvati and Rupert.

I wish I could say there was another tray, but no. At the 1 hr, 10 min mark, Rupert slips and Parvati wins immunity.

Now Jeff warned there would be a twist at the end of the challenge: The clue to the next hidden immunity idol.

Two paths meet, a burning bush, a shadow cast, under a rock... AND GO!

As soon as the survivors arrive back at camp, the race is on. To the victor go the spoils and the victor is... Sandra! She manages to find it without anyone noticing, so she chooses to keep things a secret.

Rupert who was unsuccessful in finding the Idol has other ideas. He places a large rock in his pocket and chooses to act like he found the Idol.

His plan works when Russell spots the bulge in his pocket at camp. However, Russell is not worried, he rounds the troops and makes it clear that they need to split the votes, 3 & 3. To make sure either Rupert or Colby goes. The girls however, feel this might be a great time to get rid of Candace as they do not trust her and think she is a bigger threat than Colby.

If only this planning had been done without Rupert and Colby overhearing it....

At Tribal, Rupert and Colby share some mean words with Candace calling her out as a traitor. She takes the words in stride and tries to stay focused on the game. So, let's hit the first of our two votes this evening.

Jeff tallies the votes... and by a vote of 5-3, Candice, the tribe has spoken!

Ouch, for Candice who calls her ouster karma coming back to bite her, but kudos to Rupert and Colby for sniffing out the plan and buying themselves more time in the game.

As the Survivors return to camp in the darkness, the villains are not happy with the result. Russell feel like he and Parvati are in equal control of this game now and that he has to fix that. Further, the villains seem to be in agreement that they do not think Rupert has the Idol as they can't imagine that he would not have played it. With their Scooby-sense firing on all cylinders, it is time for another immunity challenge!

It's a 3-parter, so we'll do it the same way.

Part 1: race across the floor dig up a peg, run it through a grid maze and bust a tile. The first 5 will move on. This part of the challenge eliminates the Australian Outback. Colby and Jerri are out.

Part 2: The remaining 5 now have to clip up a ramp using 4 insertable puzzle pegs as hand and footholds. First 3 up move on to part 3. Sandra slips up along with Danielle leaving Russell, Parvati and Rupert to duke it out for immunity.

Part 3: A slide puzzle of the Survivor logo. First to finish wins immunity. Parvati quickly falls behind pace leaving the two boys to face off and when all is said and done, Russell wins immunity!

And boy does he know how to use it. Upon arriving back at camp, all the girls who think this is going to be a easy day on the beach are in for a shock. Russell has decided to use this win as a chance to retaqke control of the game. His plan? Pit Parvati and Danielle against each other.

He pulls Danielle aside and lets her know that he doesn't think either of them can beat Parvati in the finals if she makes it to the end. Danielle doesn't disagree but states clearly that now is not the time to flip a vote against a villain. She believes Rupert is the only choice.

With that "Russell seed" planted, Russell goes to talk to Parvati to let her know that Danielle told him that they need to get rid of Parvati! The audacity of this man. Parvati finds it hilarious and says that she needs to talk to Danielle to straighten this out. Russell not wanting the girls to talk for fear of being found out warns Parvati that she'll be everything short of stupid if she discusses this with Danielle.

She does anyway. This makes sense considering the amount of loyalty between the 2 girls. Danielle half loses it realizing that Russell bringing her name up as a saboteur virtually puts her name on the chopping block. Parvati also recognizes the potential game plan and both girls know that all they need to do is solidify Jerri's vote to ensure 4 votes against Rupert.

While the girls try to lock Jerri, Russell locks Colby and Rupert. Ironically, Rupert is more than happy now to work with Russell. What happened to your honor, Rupe?

Well tribal should be fun once again. At Tribal, Jeff pries into things he should stay out of and we learn that our favorite threesome of Russell, Danielle and Parvati view things very differently. Russell states that his allegiance belongs solely to Parvati, but Parvati and Danielle make it clear that their alliance is to each other. at the very moment that Danielle begins crying over her loyalty to Parvati being viewed as a detriment to loyalty with the Villains as a group, Russell whispers to Jerri that Danielle needs to be the vote. Seems like we have a manipulation face-off. Who will win?

Jeff leaves to tally the votes.

Jerri mentioned when casting her hidden vote that this vote would "seal her fate" in this game.

And by a vote 4-3, Danielle, the tribe has spoken!

So, Danielle joins the jury and everyone else will need to pick their jaw up off the floor as they have made the final 6. We presumably only have 3 vote-outs remaining before our final Tribal, so keep watching, keep reading, and we'll see you next time.
