He's a Ball of Goo!
March 6

Last time, Ozzy managed to find the hidden Immunity Idol and replaced it with a phony. At Airai, Chet's laziness continues to be a factor. Unfortunately, Tracy challenged Joel for a fight at Tribal, and the result ended up cutting Mikey B.

Night 11: Blindside!

Jason was hoping that his plea would've sent Chet packing. No such luck.

Day 12: Blindside... Part Deux

Jason's still bummed about Mikey B being gone. His tribe is that much weaker. The tribe he's in is not the tribe he wants to be in. And speaking of which, Chet's planning on getting rid of him next, so unless something happens, he's pretty much condemned.

Meanwhile, at Malakal, Charlie's ready to get cooked... well, the tribe's ready to cook him, but Charlie's not ready for anything. Cirie's not ready to see a dead chicken at camp.

Well... too bad.

Ozzy hides the idol somewhere where he can readily get to it. He tells James, Amanda, and Parvati of his discovery. Amanda says that they're the powerhouse right now.

R-Challenge: It Takes Two (for a home barbecue)

First things first... Business. "Drop your buffs. We are switching tribes." New tribes are...

Airai: Natalie, James, Alexis, Penner, Jason, Parvati, Kathy, Eliza

Malakal: Ozzy, Joel, Amanda, Erik, Ami, Tracy, Cirie, Chet

Bound pairs will chase each other and try to grab a flag off of each other's backs. First to three wins.

Round 1: Erik/Ozzy vs. Kathy/Natalie. Winner... Malakal
Round 2: Parvati/Eliza vs. Chet/Joel. Winner... Airai. Parvati gets a fat lip.
Round 3: Ami/Amanda vs. James/Jason. Winner... Malakal. Ami has a tweaked knee.
Round 4: Penner/Alexis vs. Cirie/Tracy. Winner... Airai. Penner has a busted knee.
Final round: Parvati/Eliza vs. Chet/Joel. Chet hits his head.

Winners: Airai.

Back at camp, Joel can't help but feel karma stab him in the butt when he ends up with Chet on his new tribe. Erik is excited to be on his new tribe, but they're still people in the game, so he can't be too wary.

Chet is a sack of potatoes. Ozzy does not see him as a strong competitor. Chet, meanwhile, bonds with chickens and relates them to the game of Survivor. The weaker one (Chet) is usually pecked on until they're removed from the tribe.

Back at Airai, the fans note that it's pretty much a disaster. Eliza calls it a "downgrade". But it is good to get to know people, especially as the fire is endangered by the tide...

... That night, fire goes away. "They should be dead! They're just a bunch fo dingbats!"

Penner continues to nurse his knee, which had a stick go straight through it. "It's big and it's sore. I really tweaked the hell out of it."

Medical comes out that night to tend to it. They numb it, suture it, and bandage it. Penner, meanwhile, is left with stitches and a tweaked leg. He hopes it doesn't get worse.

Day 13: fishing for.. fish.

Take a look at how beautiful the schools of fish swim through the clear blue water. Now takes a look at Ozzy putting sticks through them. The men think that Chet is ready to go, while Joel is ready to give up Cirie for a chance at Chet later. He thinks that it is, to a degree, fans vs. favorites, and someone's going to have to flip.

Day 14: time for a do-over.

Thanks to the fans, the Airai get started on a new camp, well away from the tide and safe for the fire. Elapsed time... one hour.

Over at Malakal... dead sharks. Food. Amanda gets the credit for that. How is anyone's guess. Now it's time to start winning.

I-Challenge: Tribal Tiles

Throw rocks at hanging tiles. When the tile is broken, it would drop a bundle of puzzle pieces. Three tribe members and a direction caller would assemble a color-coded puzzle from the pieces. First to put together the puzzle wins Immunity.

Winners: Airai.

Back at camp, more chicken imagery. Joel has stopped counting how many losses he had. It can't be any more fans vs. favorites unless they want to continue losing.

Chet spends more time with the chickens than with his tribe. Joel tries to convince the favorites to get rid of Chet. Ozzy agrees. Erik tries to talk to the ladies, but they want to get rid of the stronger players, Joel. Chet tries to convince Cirie and Tracy to get rid of Joel. Cirie tries to convince Ozzy that Joel is the bigger threat. Ozzy says Joel's a mover and a shaker, and Chet's a nothing and a nothing. This is an important vote tonight. How will they approach the rest of the game? Will they keep the strong or purge the strong?

Night 14: Tribal Council

Ozzy chose Joel to match up size for size. Chet was left over as the last person picked, saying that he felt left over from day 1. He was happy with the results. Tracy thinks that if there was some communication, then they would've won the Reward Challenge. Joel says that there was communication. Chet counters with being strapped to a Mack truck. Erik says that most of the tribe thinks that this is a matter of keeping the tribe strong.

Erik: CHET - "We want to stay strong as a tribe."
Chet: JOEL
Tracy: JOEL - "This is because you called me weak one too many times."
Joel: CHET

And the other votes...

Ami: JOEL
Cirie: JOEL
Ozzy: JOEL

That's five, that's enough. The final vote...

Amanda: JOEL

By a vote of 6-2, Joel, THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN.
