Jessica Cupini
September 19

Last year, one person, former police officer Mike Kozowski, beat Daniel Negreanu for $1 million. The question: can someone do it again? They'll have to take down celebrities... poker pros... and finally Daniel Negreanu himself.

Welcome to Pokerstars.net Million Dollar Challenge: Season 2!

Round 1: Daniel will be your on-site coach as you take on a celebrity defender. Win against him or her, and you move to Stage 2, where Daniel moves to a sound-proof booth, and you move all-in against a poker pro who can shut him out for two hands using the Dome of Silence. Win against him or her, and go to stage three... taking on Daniel himself for $100,000... or possibly a million.

Today's first contestant is a single mom and a student at West Virginia University. From Weirton, WV... JESSICA CUPINI!

ROUND 1: vs. Brooke Burke

Brooke is playing for charity, Chrysalis, Los Angeles. Both players start with 20,000 in chips. Jessica has one timeout card that she can use at any time in the match. If Jessica wins, she takes a trip to the Bahamas for keeps.

Blinds are at 400 & 800. Brooke has K-5h. Jessica raises on A-J to 1800. Brooke calls. FLOP: 2-6-4. Brooke with a gut-shot straight draw. Jessica bets 1200. Brooke calls. Turn: 3d. Brooke has her straight. Check and a bet of 1000 from Brooke. Jessica calls. River: 6h. Jessica check, and Brooke bets 1000. Jessica... folks.

Brooke has A-Js. Jessica with 10-2. FLOP: A-10-9. Middle-pair for Jessica, top pair for Brooke. Jessica bets 1100. Brooke min-raises to 2200. Jessica calls. TURN: 6s. Jessica checks. Brooke bets 1000. Insta-call. RIVER: Kd. Jessica checks. Brooke bets 2000. Jessica... folds.

At the break, Brooke has the lead, 24K to 16K. Blinds now up to 1K & 2K.

Brooke calls on K-7. Jessica has 10s... and calls TIME OUT. Daniel's advice: be aggressive. B-E aggressive. Jessica... goes all-in! Brooke... calls! For 32,000... Brooke has three outs, all kings. FLOP: 6-Q-8. TURN: 4h. Now Brooke has 7 outs, a king or 5. RIVER: 4s! Jessica doubles to 32,000!

Jessica now leads, 32K to 8K. Blinds now up to 2K and 4K.

Jessica has K-10h, betting 8000 and putting Brooke all-in on A-4h. Jessica needs a king or a 10. FLOP: 10-6-6! Jessica flops two-pair. Brooke's down to an ace and an ace only. TURN: 9c. RIVER: .... 7s! Brooke's done, and Jessica wins her $5000 trip to the Bahamas.

Next step... $25,000. Who's she playing against?

ROUND 2: vs. David Williams

David is also playing for charity, Yele Haiti Foundation. He can cut off communication between Jessica and Daniel using the Dome of Silence. He can use that twice in the match.

David has 8-4c. Jessica checks on 9-7. Flop: J-9-10, bottom pair for Jessica. David bets 1600. Jessica calls. TURN: Jd. David bets 2500. Jessica counts a raise to 5000. David... FOLDS!

Jessica leads, 23,500 to 16,500. Blinds are 400 & 800 still.

Jessica's J-8 to David's Q-J. FLOP: J-8-K. David calls and invokes the Dome of Silence. TURN: 2d. Jessica makes it 3000. David... calls. RIVER: 3s. David checks. Jessica bets 5000. David... folds.

Daniel's back in her ear. David looks at an ace and goes all-in. Jessica with 3s... CALLS. David's other card: 2h. FLOP: 7-10-J. David's down to three outs, all aces. TURN: 8c. A 9 will chop the pot with a straight. RIVER:... 8s! JESSICA WINS $25,000.

The question now... will Jessica take the $25,000 and go back to West Virginia, or risk it in a game against Daniel Negreanu? SHE'S GOING FOR IT!

ROUND 3: vs. Daniel Negreanu

Right now, ally becomes enemy. Daniel is playing for $10,000 for Make-a-Wish. Blinds are at 400 and 800.

Jessica has J-4. She calls. Daniel checks with 8-5. FLOP: 6-3-J. Daniel bets 1200. Jessica calls. TURN: Ks. Jessica bets 2200. Daniel folds, pot to Jessica.

Jessica now has A-10. She raises to 4000. Daniel has K-10, calling. Flop: K-9-7, top pair for Daniel. Double checks. TURN: 8d. Open ended draws for both players. Jessica bets 3500. Daniel raises 5500. Jessica folds, and Daniel takes the lead.

Blinds now at 1000/2000.

Jessica calls on A-9. Daniel has Q-6. Flop: J-9-10. Open-ender for Daniel. Checks twice. TURN: 8c. Jessica bets it all... Daniel calls. Jessica's nearly drawing dead. She needs a queen to stay alive, otherwise, it's see you in the Bahamas... RIVER: 9h. GAME OVER. But Jessica still has that trip to the Bahamas, and Daniel wins $10,000 for Make-a-Wish.

Can someone topple Daniel for $100,000? Stay tuned.
