Dallas Final
July 14
Last week, our finalists hit the course in Venice... and the course hit back, showing zero mercy. Now it's all about Dallas, and a woman who's been at the heart of this season, becoming the first female to complete the Qualifier Course. Can she make history AGAIN?

DALLAS
The Cotton Bowl at Fair Park

In addition to the six obstacles in the Qualifier, the American Ninjas will face four more obstacles, one of which is making its ANW debut. The course...

- Quintuple Steps
- Log Grip
- Tilting Table
- Swing Jump
- Ring Toss
- Warped Wall - 14 feet, three chances
- Salmon Ladder
- SWINGING FRAMES - New for 2014, grip and swing across three metal frames
- Pole Grasper
- Spider Climb - Three stories up to the final buzzer.

As before, it's win-and-in. Any competitor who completes the Final Course gets a trip to Las Vegas and a shot at $500,000. If 15 people do not finish, it's the fastest and the furthest. The top athletes will run last. First...

- Eric McKeethen (25; Cedar Hill, TX; personal chef): FAIL Tilting Table
- Matthew Laessig (42; Austin, TX; VP of internet travel company): FAIL Ring Toss
- Engin Dolen (44; Dallas; truck driver): FAIL Salmon Ladder

During the break, Terry Cossey turned at the Tilting Tables, while Michael Solomon grabbed the top of the Wall, but couldn't convert.

- Geoffrey Motil (39; Dallas, stuntman): FAIL Quintuple Steps. He DQed himself by grabbing the edge of the obstacle..
- Daniel Manuel (45; Ada, OK; firefighter): FAIL Ring Toss

Joshua Stone got tossed by the Ring Toss, and Joshua Cook couldn't make it up the Salmon Ladder, bringing the total fails to 9.

- Jonathan Morin (30; The Colony, TX; pastor): FAIL Swinging Frames
- David Gilbert (29; Hoover, AL; gymnastics coach): FAIL Pole Grasper
- Jeremy Morgan (24; Pass Christian, MS; worship leader): COMPLETE! (3:30.70) And the Morgan Family is going to Vegas!

Seth Blaustein fell out at the Salmon Ladder, while Jimmy Bogle, Jr. dropped at the Tilting Table.

- Sam Sann (47; Houston, gym owner): FAIL Swinging Frames

We are now halfway home. For everyone that completes the course, another name must fall. Joe Calderon fell at the Swinging Frames, while Connor Moyer did the same in front of his new wife Nita Muckelroy.

- Tremayne Dortch (28; Houston, personal trainer): COMPLETE! (5:23.26)

Brandon Pannell and Nathan Jasso got a gut check at the back half of the course. Next up, Nathan's friend...

- Abel Gonzalez (30; Edinburg, TX; personal trainer): COMPLETE! (6:54.96) The only walk-on to conquer the course!

Joseph "Jo Jo" Bynum was thrown a curve by the Swinging Frame, but Jaret Salas punched his ticket to Vegas as did Geoffrey Lancaster.

- Cass Clawson (22; New Orleans, acrobatic dunker for New Orleans Pelicans): FAIL Swinging Frames
- Karsten Williams (32; Plano, TX; youth fitness coach): COMPLETE! (7:26.28)
- Kevin Klein (25; Dallas; NFL entertainer): FAIL Pole Grasper

So far, six players have completed the course. Will SHE be the seventh?

- Kacy Catanzaro (24; San Antonio; former NCAA gymnast): .... YES! (8:59.53) The first woman EVER to complete the Finals Course and punch her ticket to Vegas!

And Brent Steffensen is climbing the truss to join her! Shut the front door! That leaves one more run... It'll be either Sam Sann or...

- Dillon Gates (21; San Antonio; kinesiology student). All Dillon needs to do is complete the Swinging Frames OR complete the Salmon Ladder in a faster time than Sam Sann... FAIL Salmon Ladder.

And Sam Sann is IN!
