Team Best Friends
August 6

Charlie Bell (Royal Oak, MI) & his best friend Jacob (Rochester Hills, MI) love excitement. Charlie wants to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Jacob wants to swim with sharks. But it doesn't get any more exciting than... the 60 Second Circle! The plan? Stay calm and don't get too excited.

MILESTONE LEVEL 1: DROP ZONE: The contestant must guide THREE whiffleballs on two ropes downwards from a table to three baskets.

And as always, "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION."

First attempt (Charlie) ... COMPLETE! (:30; $1000).

LEVEL 2: FACE THE COOKIE: The contestants must move one sandwich cookie each from their forehead to their mouth using only their facial muscles.

First attempt ... COMPLETE! (:32; $2000)

LEVEL 3: OFFICE DOMINOES: Using 11 reams of copier paper, a contestant must create a domino chain that ends with the last ream hitting a bell.

First attempt (Charlie) ... COMPLETE! (:01; $3000).

LEVEL 4: THIS BLOWS: The contestants must inflate a balloon, then use the escaping air to knock down 15 plastic cups each. This must be repeated until all of the cups are knocked out.

First attempt...  COMPLETE! (:07; $5000)

MILESTONE LEVEL 5: ON THE HOOK: The contestant must use a chopstick in their mouth as a rod and a paper clip as a hook to catch FOUR keys.

First attempt (Jacob)...  COMPLETE! (:30; $10,000)

LEVEL 6: RAISIN THE BAR: The contestant must flick a box of raisins from underneath an overturned soda bottle so that it lands on the table without toppling over. This must be done four times out of 10.

First attempt (Charlie)... COMPLETE! (:46; $15,000)

MILESTONE LEVEL 7: BROOMSKI BALL: In the Minute to Win It version of skeeball, a contestant must roll tennis balls over a broom handle and into three waste bins of varying height until there is one in each.

First attempt (Jacob) ... COMPLETE! (:29; $25,000). Playing with found money...

LEVEL 8: HORSEPLAY: The contestant must blow colored ping-pong balls along an inclined table to land them on corresponding horseshoes.

First attempt (Charlie) ... FAIL (TIME OUT; TWO lives remaining).

Second attempt (Charlie)... COMPLETE! (:20; $50,000).

Is it play on... or take off? They... take off with $50,000!

And that's going to do it for Minute to Win It, but stay tuned because the series premiere of "The Chase" is on... RIGHT NOW!
