January 12

People will do anything to win a million dollars in the Sixty Second Circle. These two pairs prove that point.

First up, BETHANY & LYNN GERBER (Winfield, KS). Bethany is Miss Kansas 2010. Lynn... is a klutz. They are like night and day, but leave it to the pull of money to bring them together.

LEVEL 1: BABY RATTLE. Using the shake, rattle, or roll technique, a contestant must transport all of the marbles and gumballs from one plastic soda bottle to another.

And as always... "Failure to complete this task in 60 seconds may result in ELIMINATION."

First attempt (Bethany): COMPLETE (:27, $1000)

LEVEL 2: GLASS ROAD TRUCKER. The contestant must line up 8 upside-down glass soda bottles and then blow a ping pong ball across the bottles so that it lands in a shot glass positioned at the other end of the table.

First attempt (Lynn): FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining)

Second attempt (Lynn) FAIL (TIME OUT, ONE life remaining)

Final attempt (Lynn): COMPLETE (:25, $2500)

LEVEL 3: READY SPAGHETTI: Using a single strand of dry spaghetti in their mouths, the contestants must transfer pull-tab soda cans from one table to another, building a three-can pyramid. No hands allowed.

ONLY attempt: FAIL. But they do take home $1000.

Next up, LISA SALINAS (28, Chicago), a married dance teacher who listens to this show's theme in the car. Her partner is TRAVON "TRA" ESPY (40, Los Angeles), an LA fire captain.

LEVEL 1: CHOCOLATE UNICORN. Each contestant must create a horn of six chocolate snack cakes which must be held for a three-count.

First attempt (Tra): FAIL (TIME OUT, TWO lives remaining)

Second attempt (Tra): COMPLETE (:15, $1000)

LEVEL 2: NOODLING AROUND. Using only one uncooked strand of spaghetti in their mouth, a contestant must pick up SIX pieces of penne pasta from the table. Any use of hands is a foul, resulting in an automatic loss of life. Break the spaghetti strand, and you must start over.

First attempt (Lisa): COMPLETE (:15, $2500)

LEVEL 3: A BIT DICEY. One player must balance six dice on a popsicle stick using only their mouths. The stack must be held for a three-count.

First attempt (Tra): FAIL (TIME OUT, ONE life remaining)

Final attempt (Lisa): COMPLETE (:18, $5000)

LEVEL 4: BRUSH WITH DANGER. The contestants, standing 13 feet apart, must slide a toothbrush across a looped piece of floss and into a container in the middle.

Only attempt: COMPLETE (:18, $10,000)

LEVEL 5: GETTIN' JUGGY WITH IT. The contestant must stack four empty five-gallon water bottles in a free-standing stack.

Only attempt (Lisa): COMPLETE (:22, $50,000). And after a phone call from Lisa's sister-in-law...

LEVEL 6: IRON BOARD MAN. Using an ironing board, the players must navigate a marble to one of three designated holes. The marble must be held for a three-count

Only attempt: FAIL (TIME OUT, GAME OVER). But they do take home $50,000.

Next time, MORE stupid human tricks for fun and profit.
