Semifinals: Berkeley/Middlebury/Harvard
February 19

We started with 15 players from all across the nation, playing for glory and a shot at $100,000 in the Jeopardy! College Championship. At the end of this week, one player will reign over them all with the cash, the title, and the seat at the next Tournament of Champions. But no more second chances for the final nine. It's win or go home.

What challenges await the brightest collegians in the country? How will they rise to meet them? The answers to these questions could be worth $100,000 for the winner, $50,000 for the first runner-up, and $25,000 for the second runner-up. Semifinalists are guaranteed $10,000. Any and all prizes depend on how far up a player moves in the standings.

The winner of this game gets Tucker Pope and Terry O'Shea.

Let's look at the Book courtesy of J-Archive.com to see how this one plays out...

- JULIA WINS IF... she bets $7800 and is correct while the others wager against each other and are wrong.
- ERIKA WINS IF... she wagers everything and forces Kevin to play to win (again, normally Stratton's dilemma in practice).
- KEVIN WINS IF... he wagers $10,201 and is correct.

Final Jeopardy! category: SHAKESPEARE CHARACTERS

HE HAS THE MOST SPEECHES OF ANY CHARACTER WITH 471 IN 3 PLAYS, OF WHICH 2 ARE HISTORIES & 1 IS A COMEDY

Correct response: who is Falstaff?

Julia's response: who is Falstaff? CORRECT. Wager: $2402. Total: $13,002.
Erika's response: who is Falstaff? CORRECT. Wager: $9700. Total: $21,300.
Kevin's response: who is Falstaff? WRONG. Wager: $10,201. Total: $23,201.

FINALIST: Kevin Shen

Kevin was all money in the Final, and this could have been anyone's game. This kind of game speaks to the caliber of competitor we have this tournament.

But can Kevin keep pace against these two?
