Finals: Berkeley/TAMU/Princeton - Part 1
February 20

What started with 15 collegians from the US and Canada ends today and tomorrow with the final three in the finals of the Jeopardy! College Championship. At stake: the honor of their institutions of higher learning, the glory of a nation, bragging rights, $100,000, a guaranteed slot in the next Tournament of Champions, a trophy, and the title of Jeopardy!'s 2014 College Champion - a title that comes with immortality on the trophy that sits in the Jeopardy! Hall of Fame.

Will it be the lady from Princeton who upset the favorite? Or two others who kept it close in their semifinal matches? The answers to these questions could be worth $100,000 for the winner, $50,000 for the first runner-up, and $25,000 for the second runner-up.

After Tucker runs Celebrities' Middle Names... and one of the final two clues on top of those...

Daily Double #1: $1600 Ages & Ages. Tucker rings in at the right moment with $5400 to Terry's $10,800 (exactly half) and Kevin's $3400. Tucker bets $2400 on this: an 1870s novel about greed & corruption gave us the name of this "age". He blanks on "The Gilded Age", leaving him with $3000.

Daily Double #2: $1600 Social Life. Tucker has another shot at it with $4200 to Terry's $11,200 and Kevin's $5400. He bets $2200 on this: if you're the youngest, mom & dad's gloom after you leave home has been medically identified as this syndrome. "What is Empty Nest?" Right for $6400!
