Cheryl Burke had interests
in good partners past seasons, but this one wasn't hers as Wayne Newton
was thrown out of the ballroom last week. With Samantha Harris
returning, all 9 couples will either dance the paso doble or the
Viennese Waltz. Let's get rockin'!
To start things off, Mark & Kym waltz to "Mr. Bojangles." Kym did a foot
lift and a circle kick with a ballerina move. Now to the judges. Carrie
Ann said his mouth wasn't moving...true...Len said it was his best
dance, and Bruno said it looked like a perfect gentleman, but will it be
a perfect score to start off with?

Pretty Good Start.
Now up next, Sabrina & Mark doing a paso doble to "You Spin Me Round" by
Dead or Alive. Sabrina dragged in the intro and Mark did a few jump
spins. He even did a kick over Sabrina. Let's spin over to the judges.
Carrie said it all came off tonight, Len said it couldn't find anything
wrong and Bruno said it had attack & stealth. Numbers away!

Perfect! And the Lead!
Waltzing into the stage is Jane & Tony. The song: "Piano Man" by Billy
Joel. Jane did a figure spin and ballerina one and a figure skating one.
Let's spin with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was gorgeous, Len said it
had moments about Vienna and Bruno said she's the queen of the fairies.
Let's all wave the magic wand at the score board:

That'll be 2nd place.
In the center of the ring, Floyd & Karina doing a paso doble. Floyd
threw his cape around and Karina did spins. Floyd did a rush & attack
move, a jump and a protractor one before he did a pro wrestling move. To
the judges we go. Carrie Ann said it was the most improvement, Len said
it came out 100% and Bruno transformed him from a bulldozer to a
bullfighter. Bring in the numbers!

And they take 3rd place.
Who's up? Mel & Maks doing a waltz to "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. Mel
did a solo and both did spins individually. They ended with a arm-in-arm
walk. Was that a walk in the park? Carrie Ann said it brought together
sensual elegance, Len said it was a beautiful mix and Bruno said it
swept away to Wonderland. Get the broom:

Okay Cameron & Edyta, you're up to do a paso doble to "Superman."
Cameron did an intro and after a jump by him, both did a jump. Cameron
did a kick over Edyta and she slid-through. Let's fly with the judges.
Carrie Ann said it was incredible, Len said it went together like fish &
chips...or pizza & coke if you're in the USA...and Bruno said Superman
is back. really. Here's the scoreboard:

Now up, Marie & Jonathan doing a waltz to "I Can't Help Falling in Love"
by Elvis Presley. Both did a slow walk and Marie did a figure spin and
even a floor one. Both walked at the end, but we walk to the judges.
Carrie Ann said it didn't go for the obvious, Len said it was gentle,
and Bruno said it was a bit of sleeping beauty. Let's wake up at the
numbers.

It's a 3-way tie for 3rd.
Let's see who Jennie & Derek do as they paso doble. Derek did some jump
spins and Jennie even did a wheel drag. Let's drag with the judges.
Carrie Ann said the passion is coming through, Len said it was really
fantastic and Bruno said it changed so much. Here's the scoreboard:

It's now a tie for 2nd.
Helio & Julianne will waltz to wrap things up to "iris" by the Goo Goo
Dolls. Helio touched Julianne's arm gently and danced. Julianne took a
few spins there. Both even did a few arm moves. To the judges one last
time: Carrie Ann said he's happy to be alive, Len loved it and Bruno
said he's the glittering combo. Here's...you know.
