Week 10: Ballroom Bowl IX

After having 9 weeks of dancing, either Donny Osmond, Kelly Osbourne or Mya Harrison fight over a mirrorball trophy with 3 rounds in tow. Who wins? Who loses? Who....oh, nevermind. It's the big finale!

ROUTINE ROUND

Kicking things off in the finale is Kelly & Louis doing an Argentine tango. That got things off in the right direction. Now the scores.

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 8
Round 1 Score: 26

Next came Mya & Dmitry doing a paso doble to "We Will rock You" by Queen. Just as you seen on your screen, it was a great pair to work with. Scoreboard!

To end the round, Donny & Kym doing a cha-cha to "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. There have seem to have been flying & flipping around the floor. Can we get a score check, please?

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9
Roujnd 1 Score: 27

end of round 1. Mya is leading with 30, but we get to have a mashup just like it did on "Glee" with...the MASHUP ROUND!

MASHUP ROUND

First for the waltz, "You & Me" by Lifehouse. They danced gracefully, eventually they went to the floor later on....track switch! For the samba, it'll be "Whenever, Wherever" by Shakira. All took off clothing projectiles and got down with it. Soon after, a final track switch came and they jived to "Maniac" by Michael Sembello. After that, we get the scores....

Mya's Team: 30
Score so Far: 60

Kelly's Team: 26
Score So Far: 56

Donny's Team: 28
Score So Far: 55

Now a round worthy of making sure the rules don't break....okay, they do. It's the Freestyle round.

FREESTYLE ROUND

Up first is Kelly & Louis dancing to "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. Kelly took her hood off and Louis revealed her dress. Both did arm work and a butt touch with a few arm rolling. After a bit of a mishap, they recovered with arm work and Kelly ending it with a ground squirrel move. Now let's stay grounded with the judges. Carrie Ann said she wanted to see you as a survivor, Len said there were a few worrying incidents and Bruno said she never looked more beautiful than tonight. Now the scores:

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8
Round 3 Score: 24
Overall Score: 76

Next is Mya & Dmitry doing "You Can't Stop The Beat" from "Hairspray." Mya did a side flip and everything else captured the vibe of the 60's. Now let's capture our attention with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was not outstanding, Len said it was a sameness and Bruno said she was on the beat right on throughout. Let's get right on the numbers:

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9
Overall Score: 87

And to end it, Donny & Kym doing "Let The Good TImes Roll" by Ray Charles. Both were hurried by the pretend director and raced down to the band area. On the floor, they did a tribute to teh olden days of Broadway. Now to the judges. Carrie Ann said welcome to the HOF of freestyle...yay....Len said it was an absolute showstopper and Bruno said this is show business at its best. Our scores say...

CARRIE: 10
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 10
Round 3 Score: 30
Overall Score: 85

And the final tally looks like this...

Mya & Dmitry: 87
Donny & Kym: 85
Kelly & Louis: 76

It could go either way for the public as tomorrow, we crown a champion. Who will win? The pop singer? The entertainer? or the reality star? You'll find out tomorrow.
