99 Ways To Dance (The Round of 5)
May 5

We're almost there! Just 1 more show left before we hit our 100th episode. Same thing as last week, so let's begin.

BALLROOM ROUND

We start off with Kristi & Mark doing a quickstep. Only one highlight you got to see was Mark lifting Kristi up at the end. Len cheered her up, Carrie Ann liked the beginning and Bruno wants her to become a super ticket for the final. It's Super Scoreboard to the rescue.

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 10

Round 1 Score: 29

Next up, Mario & Karina doing a Viennese waltz to "If I Ain't got You" by Alicia Keys. Both walked down the stairs and waltzed on. Karina did a few spins and even a jump & spin move. Now let's go to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was much more elegant, Len said it was the most elegant and Bruno said it was all polished. Wax the scoreboard!

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9

Round 1 Score: 27

Marissa & Tony will now fox trot to "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra. With a nice opening move, Marissa did a kick and a spin move. Later, Marissa did another kick and a whirlybird move to end it. We go now to the judges. Carrie Ann said she loved it, Len said it was better in hold and Bruno said it was engaging. Here's the scoreboard:

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8

Round 1 Score: 25

Jason & Edyta take the tango and they're next. One highlight you might see if Jason lifting Edyta up and dropping her at the end. Let's drop in with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was breathtaking & beautiful, Len said it took too much like a tango and Bruno said it was so sexy. So, let's look at the scoreboard:

BRUNO: 10

Round 1 Score: 29

This just in....Cristian changes his mind and decides to go for the title. I hope they do well. Their first test: The tango. The song: "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. They don their sequin gloves and danced to it. He overcame the odds to tackle the routine. Now let's go across with the judges. Carrie Ann said she didn't see nothing negative, Len admired Cheryl for a great job and Bruno called him the man with the golden arm. Hammer those nails to the scoreboard!

CARRIE: 10
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9

Round 1 Score: 28

So after 1 round of play, Kristi & Jason are tied with 29 at the top, but things change as we heat up in our Latin round.

LATIN ROUND

First up, Kristi & Mark doing a samba. Looks like Mark brought his batteries for this routine. Kristi did a few spins and she also did a blender spin. It's now Marissa & Tony's turn to mambo. Marissa started doing leg work and after some lukewarm work, Marissa did a blender move. We head over to the judges. CARRIE: 8
LEN: 7
BRUNO: 8

Round 2 Score: 23
