Week 2: Picking
Somebody Else's Nose
March 24 |
Week 2 begins on DWTS. The
stars have decided to pick the dances themselves, but
the same rules go as is. Also, 2 stars will be gone.
You'll see who it is as the show begins.
To kick it off, Drew & Cheryl doing a jive to "You Can't
Sit Down" by The Dovells. Drew rocked the mic at first
and later, he took off his suit jacket to turn up the
intensity. Now the judges cool off. Len said it had a
lot of jive content, Bruno said it got the crowd going
and Carrie Ann said it had a great spring in his step.
Step to this!
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
Danica & Val will now do a samba to "All Nite (Don't
Stop)" by Janet Jackson. Danica already got it started
with a slow 1/2 split and teh sama roll came into play.
Now we roll over to the judges. Bruno said it was not
quite tangy and Carrie Ann said she dominated that
samba. Will she dominate the lead? Let's find out.
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 24
Billy Dee & Emma dance a tango to the theme from the
video game "Spy Hunter." It took all 3 girls to tango
with Billy Dee, but Emma split the 2 women up. Things
were falling apart, but the other 2 joined up to the
end. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said he has hip
issues, Len said it was like ivy and Bruno said he
wanted a stylish, minimal approach. Now apporaching: The
scoreboard.
CARRIE ANN: 5 LEN: 5 BRUNO: 5
Total Score: 15
Next, Meryl & Maks doing swing to "Big & Bad" by Big Bad
Voodoo Daddy. They seem to have started it out in the
press box and took it falls count anywhere to the floor.
Meryl later hopped over Maks and they finished crashed
on teh floor. Now the judges will make up the mess. Len
said she was swinging, Bruno said it was as swinging
acrobatic extravaganza and Carrie Ann said she has Maks
working his butt off. Get the numbers to work!
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 25
Next, Diana & Henry doing a cha-cha to Move Your Feet"
by Junior Senior. Sadly, they got eliminated this very

they decide to dance. After all this insansity, we move
on.
Next couple to take the floor is Candace & Mark doing a
rumba to "Say Something" by A Great Big World
w/Christina Aguilera. Candace did a foot circle and by
teh end, they did a little drag. Now we drag race to the
judges. Carrie Ann said it was a little too
contemporary, Len said it was the biggest problem and
Bruno said her emotional depth is focused. Focus on
this!
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
Moving right along, Amy & Derek doing swing to "Swing
Set" by Ani DiFranco. Amy came out from behind teh
curtian and Derek joined when it rose. She later did a
split and after twisting by both, they did arm work.
They even di a protractor move. Both did arm work and
ended with a flip split. Now we split to the judges. Len
said she used every nuiance, Bruno said it was witty and
Carrie Ann said it was synchronized. Synchonize your
watches for this....
CARRIE ANN: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 24
Let's continue with James & Peta doing a salsa to
"Follow The Leader" by Wisin & Yandel w/Jennifer Lopez.
Peta did a split at the halfway point and both went into
the dance floor. James took the buttons off his shirt
and both did arm work. Now we hang around with the
judges. Bruno said he's coming out of his shell, Carrie

full of attack. Score check!
CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 25
Charlie & Sharna will tango to "Addicted to You" by
Avicii. While Charlie was sitting on the throne, Sharna
stood up dancing. After this enchanting one, we check in
with the judges. Carrie Ann said the power came from
her, Len said he couldn't break hold and Bruno likes it
when he's bad. He's something else you'll like.
CARRIE ANN: 9 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 9
Total Score: 25
Nene & Tony will jive to "Do My Thing" by Estelle w/
Janelle Monae. It was bangin' at first, but it was all
good. On to the judges. Len said it was a cute routine,
Bruno said she does it beautifully and Carrie Ann said
it was really fun to watch. Here are the numbers:
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
Here's Sean & Karina doing a salsa to "Dance Bailalo" by
Kat Deluna. They danced behind teh troupe in the band
area and Sean jumped to the floor. Karina did a squat
flipover and both did arm work. By the end, she flipped
to get on one knee. Now we rise to to the judges. Bruno
said he's teh wolf of DWTS, Carrie Ann said she's a
little worried and Len said it was much better. How
better? Watch.
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 7
Total Score: 21
And finally, Cody & Witney doing a tango to "Yeah 3x" by
Chris Brown. They had to control it and control, they
did. Now we go to the judges. Carrie Ann loved the way
he stylized it, Len said it would've been more compact
and Bruno said it was like watching Edward in Twilight.
Watch this.
CARRIE ANN: 7 LEN: 7 BRUNO: 8
Total Score: 22
So after all this dancing, the final check goes like
this: 25s go to the ice dancing team and James, Danica &
Amy have 24, Cody at 22, Drew, Nene and Sean and Candace
at 21 and Billy Dee dead last once again at 15. Did they
let him go?.......Nope. Sean & Karina are out. 2 couples
gone in one night, but next week begins the Most
Memorable Year week. See how far your memories of the
star would go. Bye everyone.
