Week 6: Pop Goes the Balloon Because the Balloon Goes Pop (Party Anthems Week)
April 21
Party Anthems. What are they known for? For DWTS this week, we're examing Party Anthems. Redfoo of the popular group LMFAO joins the judges as we show you why we party.

To start off, Nene & Tony doing a salsa to "Hot In Herre" by Nelly. Nene started it off solo and Tony joined in when the tempo went up a bit. Nene helped Tone take off his jacket and ended where they started it off. Let's finish with this....

Nene & Tony's score: 33

Then there's Candace & Mark dancing a cha-cha to "I Love It" by Icona Pop. Both started off doing arm work and that got them seeing red according to the ballroom's color scheme. Now we're seeing this.

Candace & Mark's score: 32

Next is James & Peta doing a quickstep to "You're The One That I want" from "Grease." Acting like the movie itself, the moving staircase brought in the troupe acting like the gangs itself. Peta took it with a high kick and the troupe joined in again. Now the scoreboard joins in....

James & Peta's score: 35

We have Danica & Val doing a cha-cha to "I Wanna Dance With SOmebody" by Whitney Houston. Val took a piece of clothing off and it was all about dancing. Okay, on to this....

Danica & Val's score: 36

Okay, here's Meryl & maks doing a tango to "Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris. Once they linked up, there was no turning back. After all this, they unlinked. Let's link up to this....

Meryl & Maks' score: 40 Perfecto!

Then there's Drew & Cheryl doing a tango to "Super Freak" by Rick James. Guess who Drew is? A pimp. Drew once again ditched the galsses and later on, both did kicks. He even got down solo with the girls. Okay.....moving on.

Drew & Cheryl's score: 32

Charlie & Sharna is ready to do a cha-cha to "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C + C Music Factory. Charlie was one person with 4 arms, but Sharna was behind her when they formed into 2. Once this happenes, this dance went into glow-in-the-dark. Very cool! Now it's this...

Charlie & Sharna's score: 36

Finally, Amy & Derek doing a jive to "Shout" by Otis Day & The Knights. It was a marriage proposal when Derek innterupted it. Amy kept it in control and did a cartwheel to end it. Now we end with this.

Amy & Derek's Score: 38

So ends the show. Meryl gets the night with 40, Amy with 38, Danica & Charlie with 36, james down a point, Nene with 33 and bringing up the rear is Drew & Candace with 32. The axe goes to................Drew & Cheryl. He's out of the Rat Race.

Next week, Latin week. If the ballroom had a fire drill, then they stay inside for this night of stuff with Ricky Martin guest judging. Later, kids!
