Week 6: Pleading Guilty in Hollyoaks
April 25

Please prepare yourself for Guilty Pleasures Week. What you are about to see is far beyond those who were born to dance, and born to have it. This week, 7 dancers will dance for your votes, but only 1 will be out of here tomorrow and will become 6 couples for the competition. Please observe.

First off, Kirstie & Maks doing a samba to "...Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears. By midpoint, both shook their behinds to the camera and 2 samba rolls came in...but not with your dinner. The judges say...Carrie Ann said just like Britney, she's back! Len said she never filled her potential...until now and Bruno said Hit me Kirstie One More time! Let's hit the numberboard...

CARRIE: 8 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 26
Nicer way to start the show off!

Next is Chris & Cheryl doing a tango to "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. Cheryl sat on a park bench and got up to dance which ended the whole thing in a floor sweep. Now let's clean up with the judges. Carrie Ann said it wasn't exciting, Len said it lacked a bit of intensity and Bruno said he lost timing so many times. Time for a score check:

CARRIE: 7 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 7 Total Score: 22
They get a 2nd place score.

Next is Romeo & Chelsie doing a waltz to "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. All the producers needed was a smoke machine and away the 2 went on a graceful journey. Now to the judges. Carrie Ann said that was magic, Len said he came out with a romance in it and Bruno called him Romeo Dicaprio. Set sail to numbers land...

CARRIE: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 28
And they take the lead!

Before we continue, Hanson of "MMMbop" fame are the house band for tonight's program. Now back to business and Chelsea & Mark do a quickstep to "Walkin' On Sunshine" by Katrina & The Waves. 2 nerds with paper & pens put them and their (singing) Backpack, backpacks..(speaking) away. After all this dancing, they sat on the stairs and stared at the paper. Now let's stare at the judges. Carrie Ann said sometimes magic happens twice, Len said she managed to fuse high-energy with technique and Bruno said it was so bright and luminous, Let's light up the numbers...

CARRIE: 10 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 28
It's now a tie for the top!

Kendra & Louis are next doing a samba to "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin. One moment you may see is Kendra dancing on top of the judges table. Now she'll get down and listen to the judges. Carrie Ann said that was a big performance, Len said he fufilled his guilty pleasures and Bruno said it was the revenge of the stripper, Pt. 1. Here's the numbers:

CARRIE: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 25
It's now a 3rd place posting!

Next up, Hines & Kym doing a Viennese Waltz to "End Of The Road" by Boyz II Men. Both sat on the porch swing and went to dance on the floor. Then they went back to the porch swing to end it. Let's hang with the judges. Carrie Ann said she did see something strange in the beginning, Len said every dance he does is great and Bruno said he couldn't be more fluid. Let's fuel up the number board...

CARRIE: 9 LEN: 9 BRUNO: 9 Total Score: 27
and they get 2nd place.

And Ralph & Karina will take our final dance as a paso doble to "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C + C Music Factory. The electricity somewhat cut short when Karina took a nasty spill, but recovered it quickly. Now we spark with the judges. Carrie Ann said the way he got up put the rest of this dance to shame, Len said he's proud of himself and Bruno said he's starting to feel the fire. Let's fire up the numbers:

CARRIE: 8 LEN: 8 BRUNO: 8 Total Score: 24
They stay one spot out of last place.

See, that wasn't bad, was it? The final tally: Romeo & Chelsie with 28, Hines with 27, Kirstie with 26, Kendra with 25, Ralph with 26 and Chris with 22. Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the results show, because Pia Toscano will perform for the crowd, but redemption for what happened for...you know. See ya.
