Week 3: Reading One's Memory...
October 4

If you think "Once Upon a Time" started this week, then you would've though about it 2 weeks ago. Welcome to "Storyteller Night," where our 10 couples make aup a story all in the form of 3 routines, the samba, the foxtrot or the waltz. Last week, Michael Bolton was just a victim of circumstance as he was eliminated from play. The "Happily Ever After" won't be until we crown a champion, but for now, let's write history.

Going up first is Jennifer & Mark doing a samba to "A Little Respect" by Erasure. Jennifer is the teacher to the student played by Mark. Jennifer yanks Derek by the ear and gets the apple from him before doing a foot lift to the head. Soon after, she takes her jacket off. Both did arm work and Jennifer did a circling foot sundial move. It all ends with Jennifer hitting a napping Derek with a ruler. Let's get up to the judges. Carrie Ann said they messed up in the middle, Len liked the way he carried the story throughout the dance and Bruno said they were great. The report card says...

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 8 Bruno: 8 Total Score: 24
What a way to start off the night!

Next is Florence & Corky waltzing to "Edelweiss" from "The Sound of Music." As you can tell,it was about the attraction as it is in the story. How elegant they are. Now to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was in the simple side, Len said the story was beautiful and Bruno said it was simple & effective. How simple was it? Score time:

Carrie Ann: 7 Len: 6 Bruno: 7 Total Score: 20
And all they get is 2nd place.

We have Kurt & Anna doing a foxtrot to "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter last seen on "American Idol." Kurt & Anna sit on a rainy London day and danced when the sun came out. Let's shed a little light with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was so charming, Len said Kurt's musicality in his arms was lacking and Bruno said Kurt wasn't as good as last week....but was he? Let's check the scores:

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 8 Bruno: 7 Total Score: 23
They take away 2nd place, which is good.

We have Margaret & Louis doing a samba to "Copacabana" to Barry Manilow. Margaret shaked it and Louis took her head dress off. I don't think why the dress stands for Gaydar, but we found one. On to the judges before we change it to Raw. Carrie Ann said she needs to work on her arms, Len said he didn't get quite the story and Bruno said she lost her way after the Copa. We find the scores and they are...

Carrie Ann: 6 Len: 6 Bruno: 6 Total Score: 18
And they get yanked to the basement!

Next up, Audrina & Tony doing a waltz to "Let it Be Me" by Ray Lamontage. Tony rises up from the grave and dances with Audrina one last time. Soon after this dance, Tony disappeared. Now let's reappear with the judges. Carrie Ann said it was beautiful, Len said it was the mist touchign dance of the evening and Bruno said it was beautifully played. Here's the numbers...

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 9 Bruno: 9 Total Score: 26
And they're now in the lead!

Bristol & Mark dance a foxtrot to "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars. A bum on the street helps Bristol out and...doesn't. So Mark improvises. Soon after, the dresses were off and they made it feel at home. Let's come to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was a hard story to follow, Len said it took a chance and didn't like it and Bruno said the acting wasn't there. Here's what's there...

Carrie Ann: 6 Len: 6 Bruno: 7 Total Score: 19
They stay one spot out of last.

We have Brandy & Maks doing a samba to "Put it in a love song" by Alicia Keys w/Beyonce. Brandy performed...Maks played gaurd...and both danced afterwards. That's all I got to say. On to the judges. Carrie Ann said the dancing was hot, Len said it had energy, punch and rhythm and Bruno said he's starting to see the comeback of the diva. Here's the scoring...

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 8 Bruno: 8 Total Score: 24
and they tie for 2nd place.

Kyle & Lacey dance to "Take it To The Limit" by The Eagles. In it, Lacey plays the server and Kyle the costumer in a coffee shop. Later on, lacey did a few twirls and afterwards, they fell in love. Now we get to the judges. Carrie Ann said he can bring fun to the dance floor and Len said his acting and performance level is high. But how high will his score be?

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 7 Bruno: 8 Total Score: 23
It's now a tie for 3rd place.

The Situation & Karina foxtrot to "Boom Boom Pow" by The Black Eyed Peas. Both are in scientist costumes and transform themselves into....dancers. Soon after all this dancing, Karina did a split to end it. Now let's split to the judges. Carrie Ann said Boom Boom Wow...okay, Len said it wa sa bizarre performance and Bruno said that time machine put him in the lost foxtrot. Let's fast forward to this...

Carrie Ann: 7 Len: 6 Bruno: 7 Total Score: 20
and they tie with Florence.

To end it, Rick & Cheryl doing a samba to "Whine Up" by Kat Deluna. Rick is at the bar after losing a game for his Grizzlies and Cheryl finds him dancing on top of the bar. I couldn't believe Rick has his chest but he keeps his shirt on. I couldn't believe why it was family-friendly. Now to the judges. it Carrie Ann & Bruno said it was a hot dance and Len said it was well done. Here's the tally:

Carrie Ann: 8 Len: 8 Bruno: 8 Total Score: 24
It's a 3-way tie for 2nd!

It's "The End." The final score is...Audrina with 26, 24s go to Rick, Jennifer and Brandy, The Ks, Kurt & Kyle have 23, Mike and Florence have 20, Bristol with 19 and Margaret with 18. With Audrina in the lead so far, will she keep it up and is Margaret's dress enough for elimination? The results show will tell the tale tomorrow. Write you later.
