Week 10: Ballroom Bowl X
May 24

The journey is almost over. Nicole Scherzinger, Erin Andrews, and Evan Lysacek have now gone towards the reward. They'll now take their final steps of becoming this season's champion. What's about to happen in the first night will lead in to a championship ceremony. Watch now as 3 couples fight for the title. Week 10 of season X. The best week in all of ballroom. It begins..............................NOW!

REDEMPTION DANCE

They'll dance for any redemption...and nothing else. Erin & Maks will kick things off with a samba. For one moment, Erin tried to give up, but didn't despite Maks' dancing in this hot number. Now we cool off with the judges. Carrie Ann said her movements were up 3 notches, Len said the improvement was fantastic and Bruno said she's hotter than looming the tropics. Let's get the night on fire!

CARRIE: 10
LEN: 10
BRUNO: 9
Round 1 Score: 29

Next up, Evan & Anna doing a Viennese Waltz to "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. Anna did a ballerina spin and did a few rag doll head moves. To the judges we go. Carrie Ann said it was a beautiful dream, Len said it had elegance and Bruno said he was very good on hold. Let's not put the scores on hold. I'm warming up here, people.

CARRIE: 10
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9
Round 1 Score: 28

To end the first round, Nicole & Derek doing a rumba to "Lady In Red" by Chris DeBurgh. Nicole ran to a split slowly and a slow leg lift later on. Even something happened in the end and I don't know what it is, but we go to the judges for the heck of it. Carrie Ann saw a lift...take a point away for that, Len said there was some really quiet moments and Bruno gave her something of extreme beauty. Something's coming...

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 10
Round 1 Score: 28

After a round of play, Erin gives them a 29, and a tie for 2nd has Nicole & Evan, but we got a round that drills more than a dentist's drill and offshore in the Gulf Coast. It's the freestyle round. Run!

FREESTYLE ROUND

Kicking off the party, Erin & Maks dancing to "Alone" by Heart. Both frolicked around on the couch and raced to the bed where Erin did her thing solo. Maks grabbed her and after that, they went back to the bed, turning this thing into a potential candidate for "So You Think You Can Dance." I'm on it. To the judges. Carrie Ann said it was so risky, Len didn't like, But Bruno said it was a psychodrama. Can we get our scores, please?

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 9
Round 2 Score: 26
Score so far: 55

Next, we have Evan & Anna dancing to "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins. Evan took his suit jacket off and Anna did a cartwheel turned into an upside down copter move. Evan did a pulling move and that turned into a big split ending. We split to the judges. Carrie Ann said it was odd, Len said it wasn't what he wanted to see and Bruno said he was bitten by a tarantula. Creeping to the leaderboard...

CARRIE: 8
LEN: 8
BRUNO: 8
Round 2 Score: 24
Score so far: 52

And to end night 1, Nicole & Derek dancing to "A Little Less Conversation" by Elvis Presley. Nicole did a cartwheel and both did arm work. Derek jumped over a squatted Nicole and did a cartwheel of his own. More arm work came and a clothing change happened as the camera turned. Carrie Ann said it was crazy high-octane dancing, Len said he saw fun and Bruno said she pushed the bar so high. Let's jump and land on the numbers...

CARRIE: 9
LEN: 9
BRUNO: 9
Round 2 Score: 27
Score so far: 55

After 2 rounds, 55s go to Erin & Nicole while Evan's skating on thin ice with 52. Time to pack up so we can get set for a big night of dancing. Which one of these 3 dancers will take home the mirrorball trophy? The journey concludes tomorrow.
