TOURNAMENT 6 - THE THEMED TOURNAMENT
EPISODE 6 - CHAMPIONSHIP

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN Championship table. At least 25 rounds of Texas Hold 'Em poker for the $100,000 share of the Beck's Premier Light(TM) $250,000 Prize Pool for charity. From the depths of reality TV to the nepotism of Rosie O'Donnell, they have fought through the preliminaries of this themed tournament. Now we shall see who is the Undisputed Celebrity Poker Showdown Champion...for THIS season, anyway.

And, so...for the hundreds in the studio audience at the Palms Casino Resort in beautiful Las Vegas...and the hundreds of thousands watching at home...LLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO SHUFFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Here are the combatants for this bout:

CELEBRITY HOW THEY GOT HERE

Eddie Cibrian
playing for the V Foundation for Cancer Research
Fighting out of the "Rosie & Frirends" corner, from ESPN's Tilt and ABC's Invasion. He let Travis Tritt eliminate Rosie O'Donnell, Mo Gaffney and Penny Marshall before outplaying Tritt heads-up. From Burbank, California... EDDIE "The Tilter" CIIIBRIANNN! CIBRIAN!

Stephen Collins
playing for the MUM Foundation
From the "Mens' Night Out" table, from UPN's 7th Heaven. He knocked Howie Mandel and Meat Loaf simultaniously, then waited for Peter Dinkage's exit before coming from far behind to beat Bryan Cranston. From Des Moines, Iowa..."The Ir-Reverend" STEPHEN COLLLLLLINS! COLLINS!

Andrew Firestone
playing for Direct Relief International
In the "Reality All-Stars" corner, from The Bachelor. He gave Trishelle a taste of The Real World, outlasted Survivor's Johnny Fairplay, stood tall over Amazing Race's Charla Baklayan and then "fired" The Apprentice's Omarosa... ANDREW "Bachelor # 3" FIIIIIIRESTONNE! FIRESTONE!

Cheryl Hines
playing for United Cerebal Palsy of Central Florida
From the "Usual CPS" table, from HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. She watched Michael Vartan lose his Alias and Amber Tamblyn see God wasn't on HER side. After Anthony Anderson "Hustle & Flow"ed, she outlasted Jeopardy!'s Alex Trebeck. Out of Miami Beach, Florida... CHERYL "I'm Gonna Throw Up" HIIIIIIINES! HINES!

Kathy Najimy
playing for V-Day

And in the "Ladies(?) Night Out" corner, from the soon-to-be-released "Getting Played". She made Ricki Lake stop talking, made Kathyrn Morris into a Cold Case, watched Caroline Rhea become The Biggest Loser and defeated Desperate Housewife Sharon Lawrence. From Sandy Eggo...KATHY "No Mo' Mo" NAAAAJIMYYYYYYY! NAJIMY!

Each celebrity will start with $10,000 worth of chips and the game will continue until one celebrity has all $50K in his possession.  That person will win $100,000 for his/her charity.  But not one of the charities will go away with less than $7500; the longer someone stays in the game, the more money his/her charity will receive.  At the announcers' position beside the Losers' Lounge are host Dave Foley and poker expert Phil Gordon.  They'll be calling the action emanating from the main room.

Tournament Director Robert Thompson acts as Mills Lane this time, wanting a good, clean poker game. Watch the low pairs and rabbit hunting and go to a neutral bar when a player is sucked-out. Shake hands and come out betting! Let's GIT IT ON! Or, in the poker varlance, let's SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL!

Blinds start at $100 (SB) and $200 (BB). The Dealer Button (D) starts on Kathy, meaning Cheryl posts the Small Blind, Stephen posts the Big Blind and Eddie is first to act.

As for the hosts' Picks O' Doom...well, they decide not to jinx anybody by DELIBERATELY picking someone this time. Instead, Phil mixes up the players' info cards and Dave draws two, one for him and one for Phil. Dave picks Cheryl...and is sad. Phil's pick is Andrew...and he's satisfied.
