Celebrity Poker 6 Episode 3 - Ladies'(?) Night

CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN, the serious cash-money tournament that plays like Beverly Hills home games, is back on the air for more flops and turns than the Mustang Ranch could EVER give ya! The Beck's Premier Light(TM) $250,000 Prize Pool is still awaiting our celebs and their charities, and the $100,000 bulk of it is waiting for ONE celeb to take home...or to the charity's home or whatever...

This season is different from previous tournaments because each and every preliminary table has a theme. Last week, it was an all-guys version. Tonight, the ladies (term used loosely in some cases) have a chance to cat-fight their way into the Final Table. And they are:

Each celebrity will start with $10,000 worth of chips and the game will continue until one celebrity has all $50K in his/her possession, thus winning the "coveted" silver chip and making him/her eligible for the Final Table later in the year. At the announcers' position beside the Losers' Lounge are host Dave Foley and poker expert Phil Gordon. They'll be calling the action emanating from the main room.

All right, enough of this. As Tournament Director Robert Thompson says. let's SHUFFLE UP AND DEAL!

Blinds start at $100 (SB) and $200 (BB). The Dealer Button (D) starts on Ricki, meaning Caroline posts the Small Blind, Sharon posts the Big Blind and Kathy is first to act.

As for the hosts' Picks O' Doom, Phil picks Ricki to avenge her loss...while Dave picks fellow Canadian Caroline because...well, he KNOWS she's gonna lose because she never played poker before.

After hugs and handshakes, she slumps to the Lounge to join Dave and Ricki. Dave is honestly SHOCKED that HIS pick is still out there! Kathyrn thinks it's part of her strategy...but Dave thinks it's just sheer dumb luck! The Elizabeth Glasser Pediatrics AIDS Foundation will have to be happy with another $5000 for Kathryn's play while three others continue to fight for more...

Phil agrees that she DID go in with her best hand...but Caroline is glad because she was "getting bored". As Dave takes Caroline to the couch, he does say that United Cereberal Palsey of Southern Arizona etc., etc. gets $5000. As Ricki juggles the fuzzy thingys on the table...
