If you're seeing double, it's not
because your TV's on the blink. Tonight, five sets of twins take on
the Cha$e. Because if you're going to outrun an elite group of
Hunters, it's good to know that you have someone you can trust by
your side...

Each player is armed with a pack and
nothing else. As the game continues, Trey will release more Hunters
onto the play area. The objective: survive for 60 minutes. First one
to do that and find the exit point wins $25,000 plus $1000 for each
one of 25 money flags hidden on the game board.
Tonight's gameboard is the concrete
jungle of Downtown LA's business district. Waiting for the 10
siblings... these guys. And regardless of shared DNA, it's every
person for themselves.

Challenge #1: Read My Thoughts.
Each twin pair is split as they will have to match up symbols. Once
you do that, you will pick up the Freeze Ray. You have five minutes
to do so.
Ready... Set... The Cha$e is ON!
Brandon & Lisa match their twins on
the first try. They and their twins are the first on the board... as
is Hunter Scott. She's looking for a two-for-one special.
Back at challenge 1... Troy and
Kate... and finally Larry match their twins, so all of our players
are now armed with Freeze Rays. The last group that had these didn't
know what to do with them. Let's see if they'll fare any better.
The twins have decided to stick
together for the time being. The strategy is to use each other's
weapons and at the end, may the best person win. Gary wants Larry to
slow down and focus.
Not too soon, though, because T-Bo is
on the hunt. And he looks to be on the way to... Sorry, that's
Scott... And she just found herself FOUR easy targets. They get
moving... only to run into T-Bo... FREEZE!
But then there's Scott to deal with.
... who can't cross the street. Remember, on this game board, all
participants, whether Runners or NPCs, cannot break any traffic
laws.
And in a game of running, Larry &
Gary... stay put. Trey gets wind of this and releases Vazquez.
Meanwhile, Anne & Kate don't think the Hunters are in suits. Umm...
you may want to rethink that.
Challenge #2: Link Code. Find
any other Runner and hold your coms together to acquire a code.
Enter the code on the keypad of your partner's tech pack to unlock
Invisibility Glasses. You have three minutes to complete your
mission.
This mission was fairly easy, because
the twins stuck together. There are a couple of holdouts, but will
it be too late with a Hunter heading towards them? FREEZE!
Anne & Kate chill for a moment... but
they start unchilling when they see a Runner coming.
Trey releases Wong onto the board.
That makes four. Meanwhile the twins collide with each other.
There's safety in numbers... for now. The Cassidys though forget
about it for a moment, because they provide a distraction. Speaking
of, here comes T-Bo looking for them. As for the others, Scott is on
her way. And so is Vazquez. And so is T-Bo. That guy moves fast.
Kate & Anne find out about him (and Vazquez) the hard way... FREEZE
and INVISIBLE! That manages to shake off two Hunters... but Scott's
still active... and just the thought of her is spooking the Madsons
into separation.
Clue to the Exit Point coming...
CLUE: Ain't life grand? It would
be even better with $25K.
The Exit Point will be on Grand
somewhere. Anne & Kate decide to reunite as soon as the lights turn.
Anne runs into the Coppocks, who agree to protect her.
Trey offers $2000 to bow out of the
game right now. Anne & Lisa go for it... And Lauren... but it's Anne
who wins the money for the opt out.
Then here comes Icey. The twins
find... not her, but Vazquez. He can smell them a block away, and
here he comes. they go around the building... only to find Icey
waiting. Vazquez gets FROZEN.
T-Bo has to wait at the crossing
light same as everyone else. Not anymore. FREEZE! Meanwhile, the
Coppocks and the Tings separate.
Challenge #3: Ring Maze. Head
to a red X on your map.
... which would be easy were it not
for Wong. FREEZE! NOW... the rest of your mission.
Guide the ring from an electrically
charged post. Do that in 10 minutes and you will earn a Deflector.
BUT if any part of the ring touches the post, you will emit a loud
alarm that will alert the Hunters to your location.
Kate is the first to try it... and
she trips the alarm. Twice. She gets her Deflector... and she's
going to need it. Did we mention that the more the ring touches the
maze, the louder the alarm gets? Larry looks like he might find out
the hard way. Gary picks up the last one at that location. And the
Hunters... were too late.
Icey finds a target, but can't give
chase because of the traffic light. A sensible person would move out
of the way as soon as possible. The Tings are not sensible people.
They want to "juke" her, which means that they want to freeze her in
place with their moves as soon as possible... not necessarily have
their way with her. But then again, Vazquez is headed that way as
well.
Juking works. They end up freezing
Vazquez.
And HERE COMES THE AMAZON!
Trey is shrinking the board to
half-size. Quadrants A and D are closing in three minutes or you
will be eliminated IMMEDIATELY.
Gary & Larry have to hurry out of D
or else.
Amazon gets frozen.
Larry & Gary find a Hunter... FROZEN!
Now that buys them time, but is it enough? They're almost there...
but for the want of a traffic light, the Lanes are ELIMINATED.
T-Bo sights Kate... FREEZE!
Exit open!
EXIT POINT: Pershing Square
Right back where the players started.
First Runner there in five minutes win. The others get nothing.
And of course you have to dodge the
Hunters. The Coppocks get eccentric. And... LISA CASSIDY, Winner!
She wins $25,000 for her 60 minutes work!
That'll do it for this version of
Cha$e. Will we have a sequel or upgrade coming out? That's for SciFi
to decide, but for now... Game over and spread the love.
