The Pool Challenge -
January 16
Last week, we finish with the celebrities being put on
teams. This week, we start with them... one week later?
Well, yeah. We start with ANT speaking to both teams
after a week of fitness. Judge has called her team
Ralphie's Angels, while Daniel's team is called the
'East Siders', because they are from the East Coast.
After some trash-talking by Biz Markie and Wendy
Kauffman, we get a flashback to what they did earlier.
Daniel wants to play mind games on Judge's team, while
Judge warns the team that Daniel's team will probably
cheat.
Flash back to the present. Judge goes to weigh herself
first, and she says that she is stepping lighter. Last
week, she was 208 pounds, with a target weight of 5
pounds. This week, she is...202 pounds, a loss of 6
pounds, and the panel of health experts are happy. She
says that she needed to take the lead, and she changed
her eating habits. Harvey is happy - but he tells her to
get her team in order, as she sees, via videotape, Kim
Coles bad-mouthing her behind her back. She says that
Kim was resistant to her requests, so the Judge said
that she had to be hard on Kim, adding that she can't
wait for them to make a mistake before she gets on her.
Her goal, for the next 2 weeks - 9 pounds. She said that
the panel made her sweat, but ANT added that the sweat
helper her lose weight. Judge finishes this with an
imitation of Kim that leaves Kim's mouth agape.
For Daniel's team, Biz is up first. He gets a rap
montage of errors that I could have lived without
seeing, then approaches the scale of doom. Is he going
to see the weight of error? He went from 344 pounds
to...337 pounds, making his target of 7 pounds. Biz says
that this is going to be a weight loss plan for the rest
of his life, saying that he has been replacing regular
milk with skim milk or water. He says that he wants to
outlive everyone older than him. Not everything is good,
though - Harvey shows him footage of him not working out
- and his butt crack. Ewwwww. Harvey says that the
weight loss target for the next 2 weeks is 12, but Biz
says to make it 14, which Harvey does.
Ralphie May is next. He says that because of his
schedule, he is exhausted. He adds that his schedule has
been brutal and he has had this schedule for the whole
year. The target was 8 pounds, and he went from 481 to
469! He lost 12 pounds, which has his team elated, but
Marisa warns him to get more sleep. Harvey says that he
is impressed that he hasn't slacked off of the exercise
program - but the new target loss for the next 2 weeks
will be 16 pounds.
Mia is the 4th person to go up - but the first person to
yap with Harvey as she brings sandals to a run instead
of sneakers. She says she forgot them, but Harvey isn't
buying what she is selling as he yells at her in front
of everyone. Mia calls him Sergeant @$$hole, by saying
that he didn't tell her how to prepare the right way.
Uhhh...she can't figure out to bring sneakers to a run?
Her weight went from 210 to 205, so she also makes her
target weight (4 pounds). Marisa asks Mia her
motivation, and she says the's not here to be thin (WHA?)
but to be healthy. Harvey calls her fat, but Mia says
that Harvey has issues and that he needs to lighten up,
adding that she can be 800 pounds and sexy. Uhhh....no
you can't. She says that there's nothing wrong with
being yourself, which is true, but Harvey and Mia get
into it and Mia storms off after being told that her
target weight is 8 pounds. I have to agree with Marisa -
why is Mia here? Oh wait, I know...we need DRAMA!
We have drama of a different type with Kim, but it's for
a different reason; she finds Harvey attractive. 'He's
intense, and I get intense men because I know what
they're like behind closed doors....rrrrr....and oops,
if the penis falls in, anything can happen.' WHA? Daniel
is wondering if there will be any preferential
treatment. She may get it as she starts with 220 and
gets to 213 pounds. That's a 7 pound weight loss and her
team gives her a standing ovation. She says that she was
premenstrual, which adds to the feat. Harvey compliments
her that it was incredible and as he says that the
target weight loss is 10 pounds, he seems to be nice to
her. Maybe Daniel is right in his thinking. Oooh la-laaaa...
We break to the team challenge, which was a swimming
pool relay race, which features the teammates swimming
in the pool, grabbing pylons and giving it to their
teammates, who run the pylon to a table on the side. The
winning team gets $15,000 worth of prizes. Biz Markie
gets the lead (though loses his shorts - EWWWWWWW!), but
Judge's team loses it as Kim's new $200 bathing suit is
found to be...buoyant. That means that she can't dive
down to get the pylon, and she's still struggling like a
bloated struggling whale as the Eastsiders get the
victory.
The $15,000 worth of loot is divided in four metal
boxes. In the boxes are...1. a digital camera for Biz,
2. a portrait of ANT given to Joe, 3. The image of
anyone made into an action character, which is given to
Mia, and 4. a diamond ring, which is given to Daniel. He
trades the rock to...Joe, who as we know in the first
episode, is getting married. Joe is grateful as he goes
over to the Jeweler to get it set. AwwwwBarf. ANT tells
Daniel that if he knew he was going to give a diamond
ring away, he would have shown up in a bridal gown.
AwwwBLEAGH.
We get a montage of the celebrities exercising, and Joe
sees how much work he has to do as he sees that he can't
even get off of the floor. Harvey - 'It's a workout just
to get him up'. Joe is frustrated that he can't do any
of the exercises, adding that he performed like
'elephant d$ck'. Joe goes to the hospital with his
fiance for a stress test. The results look promising,
but then he goes right outside and has a cigarette,
which has his girlfriend livid.
Will Joe have the panel livid? He started at 302, and
he's now at...291. That is an 11 pound drop, which more
than exceeds Joe's own standpoint for 8 pounds. Harvey
yells 'Good Job, Joe!' as he gives Joe a pat on the
back. Joe attributes the loss to his fiance, but Harvey
tells him to not slack, and he gives him a 14 pound
target to make sure he doesn't.
Next up - Wendy. She loses 7 pounds, as she goes from
245 to 238. She says that she has gone through a lot of
therapy, and she decided to try hypnosis through Marisa.
We get a montage of her going through hypnotherapy, as
she realizes that at 2, she is no longer the center of
attention. We then get to see her childhood as she
equates trying to find love in food. She thanks Marisa
as she attempts to redefine herself.
Finally, it's Daniel. Last week, he weighed 264 pounds
with a target weight of 5 pounds. Everyone on his team
met their target - and at 257 pounds, so did he. Marisa
is also wondering if he got any sleep, and he admits
that from a day of moving away from the Farm, he didn't.
Harvey tells him to crash and crash hard, because he has
a 10 pound goal to get to in the next 2 weeks.
We get he first big weigh-in, but if you've done the
math, then you already know which team has won. Without
doing the math, the celebrities get on the scale, we see
that Judge's team wins it this week, 32-30 pounds. ANT
gives us the 'Scales don't lie' catch phrase, and we are
done with the episode.
Next week - Daniel resorts to dirty psychology, and
Wendy attempts to fight back. If you remember from The
Biggest Loser, the weight loss drastically decreased
from the first weight trial to the second one. We'll see
in 7 days if that trend includes celebrities. |
