Last week, after a cookoff
with the kid ambassadors from last season, an
announcement sent waves around the weigh-in. Blues were
immune, Craig is sent home, as he's below the Red
Line... and Ruben Studdard is BACK.
Back to Craig, though. He's
at 271 and 110 pounds lighter. Most of his time at home
is spent talking to his late father. After that, he's
not afraid of 32. And when the finale comes, he hopes to
be at 190.
Ruben is back in the
house awaiting his teammates and the rest of the crew,
but this time, there's no second chances. The good news,
like his first album title, he's soulful, an expert at
bringing up even the lowest spirit. That is evident in
the fact that he didn't waste a second of his brief
absence.
The next day, Jillian
apologizes to her team for the rules infraction, saying
that the team did nothing wrong. They are here to
work... so let's work.
CHALLENGE #4: Work Zone
The winners of this
challenge is getting CASH.. $1000 each, to be exact.
Each team will have to take balls, run them 250 feet,
and bounce them over a ravine to a waiting teammate, who
will then bounce the balls to a score zone worth 1, 2,
or 3 points. First team to 30 wins.
David gets the Reds
halfway to the goal.... and then the REST of the way.
David and the Reds win $1000 each!
Next day... the heavy
lift begins. The Reds are fired up from last night's win
and from Ruben's return. They are starting to believe
that they are a team and they can win together.
Sixty-two pounds later, Rachel is going from homebody to
team player. Bob is looking to keep the Blues focused.
He still has a save, and he will use it on someone who
he believes can make it do what it do. As for Jillian,
she's working her tail off to work her team's tail off.
After all, there are two people you do not forget: those
who are with you when you're knocked down, and those who
knock you down. Everyone on this team has a dream.
Tumi's is the white dress, Marie's is the ring, and
Jay's... he just has to throw up.
After a workout, a card:
"Remember why you're here". With that are three DVDs...
of yourselves.
Next day, it's a special
delivery... lunch with season 14 Biggest Loser Danni
Allen. Three guesses what it is. And no, you can't just
get fit by eating a sandwich. Look up the science.
Later on, Dolvett takes
Ruben to see an old friend of his... David. Foster. THE
David Foster. Dolvett wants to see the Velvet Teddy Bear
at work with a song that is appropriate for what he's
going through right now. Yeah, this song isn't going to
be performed at the finale. No chance. Just like we're
all not getting Subway for lunch.
Now you sing, Dolvett!
Just kidding!
