because his uncle Nikki is in the choir. Okay on to the event. You
have to stack up the books in the correct order and step back a few
to score. 50 on the line. 60 on the clock....fire the
pistol......NOW!

The Girls of Grace continue to roll. 75 on the board after 2 rounds.

ALL DOGS LOVE THE BOOK OF "RROOF!"
If you're wondering why they are dogs in the bible, it be a
different story. However, it'll be dog commands attached to biblical
questions for 50 points in this 2-player game. The Warriors begin
with this.....
("Obey your master? I can do that"): In what two letters
does Paul tell Christians to obey their Earthly masters- Romans &
Galatians, 1 and 2 Corinthians & Ephesians & Colossians?
It's Ephesians & Colossians....and they're both right! The Women
have this....
("When my ears itch, I just scratch them. Who needs false
teachers?"): What epistle that taks about itching ears has this dog
been reading- Romans, 2 Timothy or Titus?
They get titus. Wrong T. Timothy is the one. The Girls have this
last one.....
("Better a living dog than a dead cat. LOL- so true!"):
Where in the Bible can you find the phrase "even a live dog is
better off than a dead lion"- Ecclesiastes, Proverbs or Psalms?
They get Ecclesiastes. And it is! Moving on to....
ELISHA? I THOUGHT YOU SAID ELIJAH!
Can you remember these names? The
Warriors do. They have this....
Um, that priest who gave
Goliath's sword to David...the guy w/ the funny name...who is he
again- Abimelek, Ahimelek or Elimelek?
They get Ahimelek, but the one with the
B is correct, sadly. The Women have this name to ponder....
That king that Jeremiah served
under...something w/ a Z...his name was- Zebadiah, Zephaniah or
Zedekiah?
They get Zedekiah......correct. The
Girls end it with this.....
That idol-worshipping
ruler of Judah who was Hezekiah's father...who was that guy's name
again- Azaz, Ahaz or Ahab?
They get
A.....H......A......Z........Y-E-S. After 4 rounds. It's the Girls
of Grace with 175, The Women of Faith with 95 and the Warriors
hanging in there with 85. Time now for.....
THE CHOSEN THREE
The girls go first. They want to know three of these are credited w/ composing a psalm found in the book of Psalms- Uriah the Hittite, Ethan the Ezrahite, Jonathan, Moses, Asaph or The Sons of Israel?
They get Moses and Asaph, but the sons of Israel.....aren't it. Ethan
the Ezrahite was the one. The Warriors go next. They want to know the
women Jesus traveled according to Luke 8.
Mary Magadalene, Priscilla, Joanna, Susanna, Elizabeth or
Lydia?
They get Mary, Joanna and Susanna....and oh Susannna, it's a HAT
TRICK!
It's down to teh women of Faith. They want to know the 3 trials Paul
faced in 2 Corinthians 11: pelted w/ stones, boils and
leprosy, earthquakes, danger from rivers, lion attacks or sleep
deprivation?
They get pleted with stones and river danger, but earthquakes....isn't
the one. sleep devriation would've put them into the finale. So it's
nighty-night for the girls who'll add $2500 to their total. Now the
bible study showdown. Wake up and smell this....
SHEEP
Time to shave the facts as tehy head into the room with the notable
absences of Michael Henry and Justin Robinette's Texas Tech hip-hop
squad.
The Girls go first, they get.......6. Lucky 7 will put the Warriors
in.......and lucky they do with about 8 ticks left. BTW, that 3rd
question, Solomon, not Saul was the one that was the difference.
However, we need a 3rd team for help. The tiebreaker.....
How many total chapters are there in The New Testament?
Elizabeth put down 363, but Ogechi from another team put down 90. The answer is...........260, the Girls receive payback and charge into the finals. There you have it. The Wagner Warriors, The Girls of Grace and the sisters of Mary will be the 3 for the championship round. $100,000 at stake. Until then....
