America's
Choice
October
9
It’s time for America’s
Choice! This week the challenges will be selected by the viewers. The
Geeks will either:
Massage by Geek: Give massages tot eh Beauties
Fashion by Geek: Select 3 outfits for the beauties
Body by Geek: Lead the beauties in a fashion routine.
And the Beauties will be faced with:
Rocket Science: building a bottle rocket
Computer Science: Building a computer workstation
or Social Science: getting frumped up and still attracting the opposite
sex.
With so much to study, you would think that there would be extra time to
study… Wrong!
The geeks will have to cram as their challenge will begin later today.
Wonder which geek challenge won…
The ladies disrobe and Geeks jaws drop and let the massages begin. In
the same manner as last time the geeks will massage blindfolded beauties
and the beauties will rate their massages. The geeks with the highest
overall score will win.
There are kneaders, scratchers, choppers and wet fish. But in the end
there are 3 people tied for Second and one winner above the pack. When
it comes down to the final two it's Jesse vs. Will. Everyone is begging
the heavens for Will and Rebecca not to win something. Will their
prayers be answered?
In a word… YES!
Jesse wins and there is much rejoicing.
Not to mention politicking. Shortly after their win, Jesse tells Will
and Rebecca that he will probably choose to send them to elimination
because they are so competitive. Rebecca takes it hard and begins to
cry, but Will takes it as an opportunity to go and talk to Erin about
offending her at the previous elimination ceremony.
Erin sees right through Will’s ploy and thinks it is suspect that he
waited until after they won immunity to address the situation.
Rebecca knows that she is going to need a win to stay safe. And that win
is going to have to come in Rocket Science.
Just as last time, the beauties will have to build a bottle rocket and
launch it above a safety line. First done wins.
Everyone begins to assemble their rocket quickly and first done is Sam,
who then has a premature launch. Jen gives it a go and fails and Jasmine
tears one of her fins. Rebecca finally gets a launch after a methodical
build but doesn’t get enough height. Then out of nowhere, Sam manages to
rebuild his rocket and with a 2nd launch wins the challenge.
Now Rebecca is really freaking out. She knows that she is going to
elimination and isn’t ready to go home. Who will be her competition?
Well that depends on Sam and Nicole. Nicole thinks Rebecca needs to go
and tells Sam that William and Jen would be the best people to send in.
She tells him that Rebecca has the best chance against them even though
she believes just the opposite. Her trickery works and the match up is
set.
Rebecca & Will are facing off against William & Jen
1 to Jen: The Glenn Research center was named in honor of whom? John
Glenn scores one point.
Rebecca is up: NASA’s first space shuttle orbiter was named after which
star trek ship? Apollo is wrong. Enterprise would have scored 1 point.
To Jen: Name all the planets in the solar system on which man has
walked. Jen answers Earth and the moon and is incorrect as the moon is
not a planet.
Rebecca has a chance to tie. What is the name of the talking computer in
the movie 2001 Space Odyssey? Hal, Jobs or Gates? She guesses Gates and
misses. Hal would have tied it.
It’s 1-0 at half Will and Rebecca are trailing.
William is up first: Shiatsu: how does it translate? Shi- is finger and
-atsu is pressure. That’s right for a point. It’s 2-0
Will must answer correctly to stay. What two tribes (in their study
materials) rubbed down their warriors before battle? Will thinks hard
and answers Iroquois and Chappaqua.
Cherokee and Navajo would have kept him alive.
The game is over and Will and Rebecca are headed outta here. The romance
is officially dead, but next time we get makeovers! For hot geek action,
keep watching. |
