"The Aftermath" - July 13

Everyone has comeback to discuss the aftermath of Beauty and the Geek. Well, almost everyone. Eric was missing and his absence was never addressed. That’s somewhat sad.

Now if you are looking for cattiness you need to look elsewhere. Everyone is very jovial and was genuinely positive about the experience. Now for the highlights everyone will be talking about. (At least that geeks will be talking about.)

First, there is a Beauty and the Geek drinking game. Apparently every time you see Joe blush you are supposed to drink.

Romance updates!

Brad and Erika are still interested in each other but being on opposite sides of the country is making things difficult. They are trying to work through that though.

Richard was accosted by a lady on the street for lunch constituting his first date.

Speaking of being accosted, Lauren attacked Richard to make out with him, and later Mindi re-bet Richard that she would make out with him if he knew her middle name. Mindi needs to learn that geeks are geeks because they learn. Richard answered Nicole and cashed in on a big kiss.

Scarlet was truly interested in Chuck and was not just “playing” him.

Joe is still a virgin, but got a date from a girl in the audience during the show (Wow, geeks have groupies!)

An additional note: Very soon you will be able to bid on Joe’s virginity on eBay. Yeah, that will make a great gift

In giving the girls a shot at academic redemption some sad things happened:

Krystal could not identify South Dakota on a U.S. map. She pointed at Iowa. She did know where her home state of Pennsylvania was though.

Lauren is still incapable of simple addition not being able to complete 18+5+73 (that’s 96 if you are reading this at a time that is too late for your brain to function.)

Scarlet can now name not 3 but 4 states with the word new in them (Jersey, York, Mexico, and Hampshire)

Cheryl does not know in what war D-Day occurred (WW2), but she did ace her last history exam. She brought proof in the form of a blue book completed in pink ink.

Final Updates

Richard and Chuck clearly are not the best of friends, but they are at least amicable to one another now.

Bill is picking up chicks at Dukes convention now as he has been a celebrity “Daisy Dukes” judge

Yes, Richard is for real. At least his brother in the audience says so.

Caitilin and Chuck are both planning on spending their money practically. Chuck will be paying off student loans and Caitilin will be investing her money. Investing in a new pair of cowboy boots that is. I guess some things never change.

And with that we bid Beauty and the Geek adieu. They are casting for season 2, so head on over to their website if you are interested. Peace Love and Bubblegum, y’all!
