Huger Than Huge

Los Angeles. Santiago. Puerto Varas. Bariloche. Frankfurt. Wargemoulin-Hurlus. Epernay. Seychelles. George Town. Singapore. Shanghai. Eleven cities. Eleven legs. Now the journey is about to end for cowboys Jet & Cord McCoy, dating models Brent Horne & Caite Upton, and brothers Dan & Jordan Pious. But for one, the trip home will be worth $1 million. Who will win the 16th Race?

The final leg begins with Brent, Caite, and.... this;

ROUTE INFO

IT'S TIME TO GO HOME!

Fly to your final destination city, San Francisco, CA, in the United States. When you land, make your way to Battery Godfrey.

You have some cash for this leg of the Race.

The three teams make their way to the airport. The counter... opens at 10:45. So they have a bit. Dan puts his backpack behind Brent & Caite for second in line... in front of Jet & Cord. Once they wake up... Woops. "If they wanna drop the gloves, I can drop the gloves."

Jordan, he's right behind you. Don't talk to the camera like he's not there!

On the plane, Dan & Jordan are upgraded via oversell to first class. How does THAT happen, I ask you.

SAN FRANCISCO, USA

... and JorDan are the first off the plane, heading to the presidio, where they find.

ROUTE INFO

SOLVE THIS RIDDLE!

I was built in 1933. I'm 210 feet tall. My insides are lined with murals painted by 26 different artists. What am I?

When you know, go to me and search for your next clue.

The answer... Coit Tower atop Telegraph Hill. JorDan gets help from a local bike rider, while the other teams look for the presidio. Jet & Cord get the riddle from a book they bought while in Shanghai. That's playing smart.

Brent & Caite... are lost.

JorDan make it to the tower and find...

ROADBLOCK

WHO CAN GO TO NEW HEIGHTS TO WIN THIS RACE?

Using a mechanical ascender, one of you must make a climb vertically up 120 feet along the face of the tower to its archway. You will receive your clue at the top before being lowered.

Dan takes the climb... as does Cord.

Brent & Caite finally find the battery, as Dan gets his clue...

ROUTE INFO

FIND YODA!

Find the Yoda Fountain located outside Lucasfilm in San Francisco, where the next clue you will find.

JorDan finds Yoda... and Lord Vader... and a few stormtroopers.... and this clue.

ROUTE INFO

IS THE FORCE WITH YOU?

Enter the world of Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic. One of you (the searcher) must put on a motion capture suit while your partner (the director) directs their avatar through a virtual course, all based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The brothers are being led to the studio via stormtrooper detail, while Jet gets a clue from a tower.

At Lucasfilm, Dan directs, while Jordan wears a suit to basically play a game of "Masters of the Maze" done all 21st Century-like. The cowboys catch up... and play with Jordan's head for a while before getting started with their maze.

Brent & Caite... start climbing.

JorDan are the first to reach the goal and a message... doesn't want to slow down, though.

"A long time ago, on a hill far, far away, soldiers returning from the South Pacific demanded a place where they could relive perfumed nights spent beneath palm trees and cooled by the fierce ocean wind. They built this Polynesian haven and they called it Tonga!"

Looks like they're headed for the Tonga Room in the Fairmont Hotel! The cabbie knows where that is.

And Caite... can't tell her left from her right.

JorDan reach the Tonga Room and find instructions to find a trunk and take what's inside to their next destination. The trunk directs them to... GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL!

And the happy non-local doesn't help them one bit. They do find some help, but it leads them to a 10-15 minute walk.

The other teams head to the Tonga Room... but Brent & Caite forget their travel pack!

Meanwhile, JorDan finally get to the music hall and listen to the Mother Hips.

ROUTE INFO

GET YOURSELF IN ORDER!

Inside your steamer trunks are eleven posters - eight of which represent the eliminated teams, three of which represent non-elimination legs. Order the poster from starting line to the last leg. Once you have done that correctly, you will receive your FINAL CLUE!

Trivia: On the posters representing non-elimination legs is Phil's opening spiel from season one:

"NON ELIMINATION - It is the most daring competition ever attempted. Eleven 2-person teams - Couples bound by friendship, love or family - will race around the world. They have no idea where they're going, what dangers they may encounter, or how the journey will affect their lives. Most of the teams will be eliminated, but the team that reaches the finish line first will win a cash prize of one million dollars. This is a race like no other in history. This is THE AMAZING RACE"

So for those playing the home game, it's...

- Dana & Adrian (High School Sweethearts)
- Jody & Shannon (Recovering Couch Potatoes)
- Monique & Shawne (The Mompreneurs)
- NON ELIMINATION LEG
- Joe & Heidi (The Problem Children)
- Jordan L & Jeff (The Heads of Household)
- NON ELIMINATION LEG
- Steve & Allie (The Encinitas Indians)
- Carol & Brandy (The Angry Lesbians)
- NON ELIMINATION LEG
- Louie & Michael (La Polizia)

And Jordan has watched the Race for as long as it's been on. He knows that there would be a memory challenge on the last leg. So guess what he did... HE WROTE EVERYTHING DOWN! Give'em the clue, roadie!

ROUTE INFO

THIS IS IT!

"Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, to find the finish line, jump over to ____."

This is it! GO, GO, GO!

Dan be nimble! Jordan be quick! You want a million bucks? GO TO CANDLESTICK! (Park, that is.)

Jet & Cord are at the Music Hall, but is it too late? JorDan can't find a taxi! So Jet & Cord have a shot to catch up. This is the run that puts the Amazing... in "Amazing Race".

And waiting for the winner... the parade of the losers as mentioned above. And Phil...

First out of the giant 49ers helmet... JORDAN AND DAN! Mr. Keoghan, it is yours!

"Twenty-three days, five continents, 40,000 miles. Dan & Jordan, you have won the $1 million, and YOU ARE THE OFFICIAL WINNERS OF THE AMAZING RACE! Congratulations!" Just the proof that dreams do come true for fans of game shows. All you need is the courage to go for it.

Coming in second... It's JET & CORD! And in third, it's Brent & Caite... and suffice it to say with Carol & Brandy present, they do not exit the Race gracefully. But these three teams can look the world in the face and say "They finished the Amazing Race."

Group montage... wave to the camera... fade to black... and look forward to the 17th running coming this fall... Until then... out that door is the world. Be careful... and we'll see you on Race Day.
