I'm Like an
Angry Cow The remaining six teams stay in India and embrace the local color... literally. Well, one team didn't, and that team... Texas Exes Kelly & Christy... ended up on the short end, leaving the Race in sixth. The Race continues from... PIT STOP - Humayun's Tomb; New Delhi, India Nick & Starr are in a familiar place... first... which means after the 12 hour break, they're off and running at 10:14p.
Nick's vision of the future is getting bleaker and bleaker, as if he's waiting for the other shoe to fall. Toni & Dallas are the second to head out, ten minutes later. The only thing Dallas knows about Kazakhstan is "Borat", which they won't mention to anyone... Is NIIIICE. The two meet at the airport... and sparks are flying between Dallas and Starr. AGAIN. They have to head out to the airport to get tickets for the flight. Terence & Sarah and Ken & Tina head out in third and fourth. Andrew & Dan head out at midnight. Ken & Tina's travel bag breaks in the tousle. All the teams try and get on the same flight. But three teams have filled up the flight. 1st flight to ALMATY (via Frankfurt) 2nd flight to ALMATY (via Moscow) 3rd flight to ALMATY (via Dubai) ALMATY, KAZAKHSTAN The first three teams arrive and head to the chicken factory. It opens at 7:30, so we're camping out at the gate, leaving the other teams to catch up. Well, all except Dandrew, who arrive the next morning... and are lost on the way. Now all five teams are at the chicken factory, and it's truly an amazing... well, you know.
But with the roadblock comes...
What they'll find out is that they'll have to eat the fatback off of the rear end of a sheep. Terence & Sarah and Nick & Starr head to the Fast Forward, while the other teams go egg-hunting. Andrew, Toni, and Tina start the search... and Toni's the first to find her egg!
Andrew is the second to find his egg, followed by Tina. Meanwhile, Terence & Sarah and Nick & Starr find the Kazakh smorgasbord and its waiting feast.
So we order up a double serving of... meat. And Terence is a vegetarian. Well, sounds like you have a problem, and if you want the Fast Forward, you'll have to get over it. So Terence grins and bears it. Meanwhile, the other teams head to Koktobe. Back at the feast, Starr learns the hard way that she needs to chew her food before she eats it. Toni & Dallas are the first to reach the Mongols, and they lead them to a clearing, where a falconer summons his bird... which is holding the next clue.
Toni & Dallas are down with the cow. Sarah is trying to get Terence to chew his food. He can't. Nick's also having an issue keeping his food down. Terence & Sarah give up and head back to the chicken factory. Ken & Tina decide to act like fools. Terence... throws up on the way back to the Road Block. Dandrew are lost on the way to the Arch. Nick & Starr finish their meal and are rewarded with this...
Sarah begins to search for her golden egg. Dandrew... STILL can't find their way to the Arch. And a special hello to all those tuning in for Cold Case. Sarah finds her egg. And Dandrew finds their way. Meanwhile... PIT STOP - Old Square; Almaty, Kazahkstan Nick & Starr... are team number one! They've won two waverunners for winning this leg of the Race. Toni & Dallas head out to the streets as one cow. Dallas is the head... and Toni... is not. They head to get their milk. Meanwhile, Dandrew is heading up the pass at the arch and getting into a scuffle over quickness. Toni & Dallas miss the milk stand. Ken & Tina find it, but they don't realize that their clue is on the bottom of the glass. Let's go again, Tina. They find the clue, but want to change out of the costume first. Toni & Dallas find the bazaar and the meat market.
They run into Ken & Tina, who are out of costume and therefore ill-prepared for the Pit Stop. Andrew & Dan are heading for the Detour, while Terence & Sarah decide to act like fools. Turns out that everyone wants to act the fool today. Toni & Dallas are second at the Square. Ken & Tina will be third. The other two cows are lost in the city looking for milk. Andrew & Dan find it first. Both teams head to the meat market... so where's the beef? Heh. Dandrew head to the Pit Stop... via TAXI... once they get to the Pit Stop, they have to go back in the cab and hoof it by foot. The question now... will they get there in time? Terence & Sarah are already at the market. Dandrew argue all the way, while Terence & Sarah work on finding Phil and the happy local. Who'll get there first? It's Andrew & Dan. They're NOW officially team #4. That leaves Terence & Sarah. They're the last team to arrive. ... and the next team eliminated from the Race. It was the Fast Forward that did it in. Terence couldn't stomach the challenge, but the things that the two of them got together were perhaps worth more than that. After Leg 8: New
