"Pain is Universal" - March
25
Tim Nicole and Frank feel
like they have all the power. Can they make the final 3
together? Or might there be a split on the horizon?
Ring! Ring! Trump is calling and James picks up. Donald
wants someone from Arrow to head over to Kinetic
Immediately. There are no volunteers. Seems like
everyone is getting just a little too comfortable in the
mansion. Trump hangs up and James is forced to make the
decision by himself. He claims that Frank and Stefani
are his hands and he cant afford to lose either of them
and as a result he is going to have to split Tim and
Nicole up.
James chooses to send Nicole out to camp and Nicole is
livid. She cant believe that James would choose her and
thinks that James must think she is weak in some way.
Umm... yeah, thats sort of the point. She resolves to
work harder than ever and gives James an earful. Tim
feels that his journey on the Apprentice has been
defined by being with Nicole.
Maybe this can be the first time that Tim shows us who
he really is. After all this is a job interview, not The
Dating Game.
Trump meets the candidates the next day and charges them
with their next task: To sell passes to Universal
Studios Hollywood using the new AdWalker technology. The
team that makes the most money wins. Piece of cake.
Angela has stepped up as the project manager for Kinetic
and they are trying to involve Nicole as much as
possible. Nicole thinks that they should take advantage
of their cuteness as four girls and pump it up by
strapping on roller skates. Kinetic is on board
Arrow, led by James is thinking that they need
authenticity. They are planning on having a kiosk and
realize that they may have to sell head to head against
Kinetic. Tim is ready to win at all costs fearing that
he will hear it forever from Nicole should he lose.
As the sales begin there are clearly too different
strategies. Kinetic is trying to kill them with kindness
and Arrow proceeds to steal as many customers as
possible. Kinetic is irked by the way in which Arrow is
conducting business.
But will they be irked by the final result in the
boardroom?
Kinetic: $24,000+
Arrow: $31,000+
That folks is what we call a spanking! Arrow wins and as
a reward will be given a helicopter tour of Los Angeles.
Theyll get to scope out the city from some of the most
dramatic angles available.
Of course the real drama will happen in the boardroom
where someone from Kinetic will be fired.
But first, there is some drama back at the mansion. Tim
and Nicole are hitting the rocks. Nicole confronts Tim
in disbelief that he did not speak up and defend her
when James was tossing her into the backyard. While Tim
never truly apologizes, he does make a conscious
decision that he does not want to lose everything that
he has built with Nicole thus far. So, instead of us
getting to see fireworks in the form of an all out
lovers spat, Tim asks Nicole if they can put this ugly
mess behind them and Nicole begrudgingly seems to agree.
Wise decision Nicole. Now you own Tim and can make him
eat out of your hand like a puppy. In fact, while the
rest of Arrow is living it up in the mansion, talk turns
to who James should be targeting in the boardroom. As
frank and James develop a strategy, Tim listens in and
conspicuously runs outside. Frank flips out realizing
what Tim is doing and finally we have a moment of
intelligence. What was Tim doing? He was running to the
bushes telling Nicole everything that she needed to know
to protect herself.
Wow, loyalty is definitely at a premium this season. So
much so that when Frank and James confront Tim asking
him what he was doing, Tim flat out lies and just says
that he was wishing Nicole good luck. Sure
Maybe next
season well pick some better liars.
Lets get to the real action shall we?
In the boardroom, Trump wants to know what went wrong as
things clearly went wrong in a big way. He asks Angela
what happened and she claims that they had a great plan
of attack but we not ready to cope with the immoral ways
that Arrow did business.
Trump shuts her up nearly instantly attacking her for
her word choice (immoral?) and reminding her that
businesses steal each others consumers all the time.
To understand the rest of the boardroom please take
Trumps last comment as a broken record and repeat.
Yes, Trump still goes through the motions. He asks
Angela who is to blame if not her and she throws blame
on Nicole, someone who she had praised before learning
that her team had lost. Nicole has no difficulty
defending herself as Heidi and Kristine are in a
position of being unable to lie and validate that Nicole
worked well.
Then when asked who should be fired everyone points at
Angela, reluctantly. Heidi waffles for her usual minute
before giving a half answer. Then in what is a slightly
sad moment, Angela, Trump loves an Olympian, but Angela,
Youre Fired!
There was no suspense, and no mystery, but there were
tears. Angela cries in her Limo exit wishing that she
could have gotten o stay just a little longer.
However, her departure brings us down to 7. Will anyone
step up and become a frontrunner? Keep watching to find
out. |
